I was in shock when I found out that my hot dominant girl bully was the one who came to my rescue.
What are the chances?
I never thought that the day would come when I would have a panic attack in front of the person who bullied me in high school.
And to my surprise, she acted really flirty and caring towards me, dominating me in such a sweet way that made me melt like butter under her hands.
Who would have thought that she was the answer to all my problems?
Ava
"Hey Ava! Are you ready?"
Lily Chen waved at me with a bright smile on her face.
I looked up from my mirror and smiled back at her.
"Yeah… Just give me a minute."
I turned back to the mirror and applied some lip gloss to my lips.
Tonight, Lily had dragged me out of the house to attend a party that none of us had any intention of going to.
But she kept nagging until I agreed.
It was weird how she could read my mind.
She knew that I was hiding from the outside world because of my anxiety, but she wanted me to face all of this.
She kept telling me over and over that I needed to overcome my fears, and that the only way was by facing them head on.
However, deep down, I knew that it wasn’t that easy.

I put my lip gloss away and grabbed my purse.
Lily was already standing at the door, waiting for me.
I fidgeted with the strap of my purse as I followed her down the hallway to her car.
The seats were made of leather and felt cool against my bare legs as I slid in.
My heart was already beating fast at the thought of going to a crowded party.
I knew that it would be a disaster.
"Hey, you think that we will see any familiar faces tonight?"
Lily asked as she started the car.
She glanced at me briefly before looking back at the road.
"I don’t know…"

I shrugged.
Lily kept talking about who might be there tonight, but I wasn’t really listening to her.
I was lost in memories of all the other times that I had gone to parties and ended up having a panic attack. Lily pulled into the driveway and I could hear the bass thumping from inside the house.
My hands started trembling, and I gripped them together in my lap tightly.
Lily noticed and reached out to squeeze my shoulder gently.
"Hey, if you feel uncomfortable, just let me know and we can leave. Okay?"
She gave me a reassuring smile.
I nodded slowly, not trusting myself to speak yet.
I closed my eyes and started counting breaths like my therapist had taught me to do when I felt a panic attack coming on.
One… two… three…

"Remember when you said you never thought I'd be the one to help you?" Lily's voice was soft, almost teasing.
I opened my eyes and met her gaze, surprised by the warmth there.
"Yeah, and I still can't believe it," I admitted, feeling a strange mix of gratitude and disbelief.
Lily smiled, her eyes sparkling with amusement.
"Well, I'm full of surprises. Now, are you ready to go inside?"
I nodded slowly, still feeling a little shaky.
Lily got out of the car and came around to open my door.
She took my hand in hers and squeezed it reassuringly.
"Hey, we can do a quick lap around the party and see if you feel comfortable staying or not," she said softly.
I nodded again, focusing on putting one foot in front of the other as we walked towards the house.
The bass seemed to grow louder with each step, making my legs feel unsteady.
We passed a group of guys smoking on the porch, their cigarette smoke wafting in our direction.
I could see silhouettes of dancing bodies through the windows, and flashing lights that made my head spin.
