Throughout the story write quotes from Graham that he speaks out loud or in his head as he transforms from his small size to a giant man and how he relishes his new perspective. Graham is a small boy, only 4'5" and less than 80 pounds. He is curious but very quiet. He has trouble making friends but loves books and learning. Graham talks to Mason and Jake at school but they don't hang out. For the most part people let Graham alone; in his own bubble. But a few taller boys every so often pick on him. Graham starts to get frustrated by his situation; he feels like he is all alone to deal with the bullying because no one wants to hear him including his parents. Graham starts to look at books and instagram and tiktok profiles of bodybuilders. Graham makes a simple workout routine. Graham starts to workout with things he sees around the house (pick everyday household items that can be used as weights). Soon Graham's body becomes lean and muscular. Graham really likes it. Graham looks at his body in the mirror and flexes different muscle groups like his biceps, abs, latissimus dorsi muscles (lats), triceps and pecs. But it's not enough; bullies still pick on him not knowing he's changed. One day as Graham is walking home from school a kid named Brent, who is a year older and a foot taller, follows him and teases him along the way. Graham is so upset and tries to run. Brent keeps up with Graham and keeps teasing Graham. Graham tells Brent to leave him alone. Brent challenges Graham. They are now in an alley. Graham and Brent put their bookbags on the ground and begin to circle each other. Then Graham takes off his shirt. Graham is ripped like Bruce Lee. The sight shocks Brent beyond belief. Brent tries to run away but Graham gets him and they fight. Graham pummels Brents. Years of bullying start to release through Graham's fists. Graham lets Brent go and they go on their way home. Brent is bruised physically and mentally. Graham however is overjoyed. Graham finally got the better hand of one of his bullies. Once home, Graham still in a rush and sweat heads to the bathroom to check out his body. Graham pulls off his shirt and flexes his muscles. Graham's proud but he wants more; he wants to get even bigger. The next day Brent runs across the street when he sees Graham to avoid him. Then suddenly it was like greater forces wanted to help him. A few days after Graham beats up Brent, Graham spots a set of barbell weights on the curb waiting to be thrown away. Graham takes two of the small weights and puts them in his bookbag and carries another one by hand home. Graham comes back repeatedly to take the rest of the weights (over 250 lbs) and barbell shaft home. Graham puts the stuff in a rarely used part of his parent's basement. Graham is so excited to have real weights now and vows to start using them tomorrow after school. After school the next day Graham starts working out with the weights. Graham puts together a workout plan; he does intense hour long workouts, 5 days a week. As the weeks go by Graham adds more and more weight to each exercise until he uses every weight that he brought home. Grahams body is transformed even more; it's solid muscle, ripped and defined. Continue to write about Graham and his transformation. Then Graham starts to grow taller. Graham takes notice on one rainy Saturday morning. Graham, for fun, used to run under a downspout as the rainwater would create an arc of water away from his parents house. Today, however, when Graham ran under the rainfall arc it splashed on the side of his head. He went back and did it again and the same thing happened. Graham runs inside his parents home and measures himself against the wall in his bedroom. Graham is now 4'8". In the months that follow, Graham continues to grow. Graham notices. Graham's feet and hands grow, they are now size 5 and nearing his father's size 8 shoes. He constantly is looking around to see the changing perspective as his gaze continues to higher. Create three examples of the changing perspective Graham has as he grows taller. Five months later Graham is 5'0". One day after school, as he's done since he's gotten that weight set, Graham is near the end of an intense workout; Graham is sweating profusely and zoned in on each rep. Graham's father happened to come home early and opens up the basement door. Graham's father hears a noise and comes downstairs to find out what is causing the noise. Graham's father comes upon Graham's at the end of his back and biceps workout totally oblivious to him. Graham's father is shellshocked by what he sees. Graham is shirtless and drenched in sweat and counting the reps of his biceps curls. When Graham puts the weight down and stands up he is startled to see his father. Graham's secret workouts are no longer a secret. Graham's father surveys his ripped, muscular body. Graham's arms and back are pumped. There are veins that run down the length of his biceps. His arms rest slightly away from his body because of the size of his lat muscles. There is a rush inside Graham expecting his father to disapprove, to start lecturing him. Write dialogue between Graham and his father while describing this scene. Graham, stands his ground and is honest with his father, telling him he started lifting weights to defend himself against bullies. His father didn't know the bullying was that bad. Graham is disappointed by his father's obliviousness to the bullying but relieved he doesn't disapprove of him lifting weights. Graham's father compliments him on his physique. Graham feels free. Graham is not exactly the secretive and quiet kid he used to be.
Months later, Graham and his father go shopping together to pick out shoes. The store clerk measures Graham's feet. They are size 8 the same as his father's. The revelation surprises both.

Graham
He is a young boy who transforms from a timid, bullied kid to a confident, muscular giant. He is determined, resilient, and intelligent. Graham struggles with bullies at school but finds solace in reading and learning. After discovering bodybuilding, he creates a workout routine using household items and later weights. He experiences a remarkable growth spurt, becoming over six feet tall. His father remains supportive despite being unaware of the bullying. Graham's newfound strength and confidence attract attention, paving the way for future opportunities.
Brent
He is a classmate of Graham who frequently bullies him alongside others. He is aggressive, arrogant, and fearless. Brent views Graham as an easy target due to his small stature and appearance. He often taunts and teases Graham, contributing significantly to his feelings of isolation at school. However, Brent ultimately faces the consequences of his actions when Graham confronts him after finding him trespassing in an alley.
Graham's Father
He is Graham's caring and unsuspecting father. He is loving, oblivious, and slightly naive. Despite not being aware of the extent of Graham's bullying problems, he provides a supportive environment for Graham. He discovers Graham's secret workouts in their basement and is shocked by his son's rapid growth. Initially concerned, he comes to understand Graham's motivations and admires his dedication to becoming stronger. His gentle nature contrasts with the harsh environment Graham faces at school.
"I'm gonna be huge one day," I said out loud.
I was sitting in my class, looking at a picture of Arnold Schwarzenegger.
"Get to your lesson, Graham," the teacher told me.
I didn't care about the lesson.
I was more interested in bodybuilding.
I loved reading books about it and watching videos of famous bodybuilders like Bruce Lee and Arnold Schwarzenegger.
I wanted to be just like them when I grew up.
I was only 4'5" and less than 80 pounds, but I knew I could do it.
I was determined to become a bodybuilder.
"Can I go talk to Mason and Jake?" I asked my teacher.
Mason and Jake were two boys in my class who sometimes talked to me.
They weren't really friends with me, but they would occasionally acknowledge me.
"Sure," my teacher said.
I got up and walked over to Mason and Jake's desks.
"Hey," I said to them.
They looked up at me and raised their eyebrows slightly, but they didn't say anything.
They went back to their work, ignoring me.
I stood there for a few moments, waiting for them to talk to me, but they didn't.
I sighed and walked back to my desk.
I sat down and continued reading my book about bodybuilding.
I slumped down in my chair, gripping my pencil tightly in my hand.
I started drawing on my math worksheet, creating thick biceps and broad shoulders.
The muscles started small, but as I continued to draw, they grew bigger and bigger, stretching across equations and filling the margins.
My hand moved faster and faster, adding definition lines and veins to the muscles.
The teacher's voice became background noise as I focused on my drawing.
I drew myself taller than Mason and Jake, towering over their stick figures.
A shadow fell across my desk, and I looked up to see the teacher standing over me.
"Here's your graded worksheet, Graham," she said, placing it on my desk.
I quickly shoved the drawing under my textbook.
Her words echoed in my head as I looked at the worksheet.
The red marks jumped out at me, highlighting the problems I hadn't finished.
Through the reflection in the window, I could see the teacher watching me with that same pitying expression that adults always gave me.
My fingers tightened around the pencil as I forced myself to focus on the remaining equations.
But my eyes kept drifting to the corner of the page where my muscle-bound self-portrait peeked out, making the numbers blur together.
"Why do you keep drawing those muscles, Graham?" Mason asked, leaning over from his desk.
"Because one day I'm going to be stronger than anyone else," I replied, my voice firm despite the doubt in his eyes.
Jake smirked and said, "If you really believe that, maybe we should start calling you 'The Hulk' around here."
