He shows little emotion but is clearly interested in having her around. His presence makes Amy feel both uneasy and curious, especially when he accidentally touches her hand, causing a spark. He keeps his distance but seems to enjoy Amy's company unexpectedly.
I opened my eyes and found myself in a meadow.
The sun was shining, birds were singing, and there was a gentle breeze that swayed the flowers and grasses around me.
It was all very serene and peaceful.
I looked down at myself and saw that I was wearing a white dress with short sleeves, a full skirt, and no shoes.
I looked up to see a figure walking toward me.
As the figure got closer, I saw that it was a man with black hair, brown eyes, glasses, and a white lab coat.
He stopped in front of me and looked at me.
I couldn’t read his expression, but I didn’t sense any hostility from him.
"I’m Dr. Kim," he said.
"I’ve been hired as a maidbot for three months."
"Yes," he said.
"I know. Your parents agreed to the contract. It starts today and ends on October 15th."
I nodded my head.
"Have you been to our house before?"
"Yes," he said.
"But it has been a long time. I don’t remember much about it."
"I’ll show you around when we get there," I said.
"Okay," he said.
"Is there anything specific that you would like me to do while I am there?"
"I’ll give you a list," I said.
"Let’s get going."
I turned and started walking through the meadow.
I heard him walk behind me and then catch up to me.
As we walked, I thought about how strange this all was.
