I'm kenzie
I'm a fun, spirited young woman with a creative personality.
I love to play and have fun.
I'm always up for an adventure.
I'm a bit reckless at times, but I always mean well.
I care deeply for my friends and family.
I'm a good listener and try to be supportive.
I'm a bit of a dreamer, but I believe that anything is possible if you work hard enough.
My latest discovery could be my biggest dream yet.
It's exciting, but a little scary too.
I'm not sure what it all means, but I'm decided to explore it further.
I feel like a kid on Christmas morning as I explore the possibilities.
My name is Kenzie, and this is my story.
Kenzie
"Are you ready yet?"
Landon called from the other side of the door.
Almost, I just need to get my supplies together, I replied.
There was a pause, and I could tell that he was trying to decide whether to believe me or not.
I knew that he thought that I was up to something that I shouldn't be, but I didn't care.
The Art of Falling
I gathered my paints, brushes, and canvases into my worn canvas bag.
As I worked, I glanced over at the blue abstract painting propped against my easel.
The swirling shapes seemed to pulse with an inner light, and I could feel their power calling to me.
My fingers tingled with anticipation as I imagined what I could create with them.
Through the door, I could hear Landon pacing back and forth impatiently.
I knew that he was eager to see what I had been working on, but I was hesitant to show him.
I wasn't sure if he would understand.
Finally, I reached for my special silver-tipped brush - the one that had first made my artwork come alive.
As soon as my fingers closed around it, the blue painting rippled like water.
Landon's voice broke the silence, "Kenzie, is that the painting you told me about, the one that's... different?"
The Art of Falling
I hesitated before answering, "Yes, but there's something I haven't told you yet."
His footsteps stopped abruptly, and he asked softly, "What is it, Kenzie?"
I took a deep breath and opened the door.
"Come in," I said, stepping back to let him in.
As he entered, I closed the door behind him.
My hands were shaking slightly as I positioned him in front of the blue abstract painting.
I watched his face carefully for any sign of what he was thinking.
The painting's surface rippled again, more violently this time.
Landon jumped backward, bumping into my easel.
Paint tubes clattered to the floor as he steadied himself against it.
"What... what is that?" he stammered, pointing at the swirling shapes that now moved like waves in a storm.
I gripped my silver brush tightly, trying to control my excitement.
The Art of Falling
"I discovered it last week," I explained, "and I've been experimenting with it ever since."
The blue shapes began pulsing faster now, matching the racing of my heart.
