I took my friend Dr. Tim Smith to the new planet I found.
He was a doctor and also a botanist.
I wanted him to see if there is life on this planet.
Not intelligent life, just life.
Like plants and animals.
I also wanted him to take some samples back to Earth.
While I wanted to find some minerals, like gold or silver.
"Sam, are you crazy?
This ship is too small for this kind of expedition!"
Tim said, panicking a little.
"Sam, I don't want to die," he said, looking at me.
"Listen, we will be fine," I said to him, trying to calm him down.
"We have everything we need on this ship," I continued.
"Sam, I don't like children," Tim said to me.
"I know that you have two sons and one daughter," he continued.
"But I'm not going to babysit them," he said to me, looking at me.
"Don't worry, they're not coming with us," I said to him with a smile on my face.
"They are staying with their mother," I continued.
But little did he know, I had other plans for him.
"Sam, are you sure that we will be fine?
That nothing bad will happen to us?"
Tim asked me again, looking at me.
The Alien Planet
I asked him.
"Yes," he said, looking at me.
"Good," I said to him, smiling.
"Let's go," I said to him, taking him to the bridge of the ship.
"Sam, where are we going?"
Tim asked me, following me down the narrow corridor of the ship.
"To the bridge," I said to him.
"Why?" he asked me.
"So we can see where we are going," I said to him with a smile on my face.
As we walked down the corridor, we passed by the crew quarters.
The Alien Planet
The fluorescent lights flickered above us, casting an eerie glow over the metal walls.
The sound of our footsteps echoed off the walls as we walked by the doors of the crew quarters.
We could hear muffled voices coming from some of the rooms, but most were quiet.
Tim looked at me with a curious expression on his face as we passed by one of the rooms that was partially open. "What was that?"
Tim asked me, stopping in his tracks and looking at me with suspicion in his eyes.
"What was what?"
I asked him, playing dumb.
"That noise," he said to me, pointing towards the room that was partially open.
"Oh, that," I said to him with a smile on my face.
"It's probably just someone getting ready for bed," I continued.
"Yeah, maybe you're right," Tim said to me, looking at me and then continuing down the corridor towards the bridge of the ship.
But then he stopped in his tracks again and looked at me with suspicion in his eyes.
"Wait a minute," Tim said to me, looking at me with suspicion in his eyes.
"That sounded like children laughing," he continued. "No way," I said to him with a smile on my face.
"There are no children on this ship," I continued.
The Alien Planet
"Yeah, right," Tim said to me with a suspicious look on his face as we continued walking down the corridor towards the bridge of the ship.
As we approached another room that was partially open, we could hear muffled giggles coming from inside.
Tim stopped in his tracks again and looked at me with suspicion in his eyes as we walked by another room that was partially open and we could hear muffled giggles coming from inside it too!
I led Tim towards the bridge, trying to distract him from the sounds.
"Tim, you should see our new navigation system," I said to him.
"It's state-of-the-art," I continued.
But before I could show him the new navigation system, the giggles grew louder and more distinct.
It sounded like a group of children playing together.
Tim stopped in his tracks and turned around to face me.
"Sam, what's going on?"
Tim asked me, looking at me with suspicion in his eyes.
"There are no children on this ship," he continued.
"I thought you said there were no kids on this ship," he said to me, looking at me with confusion in his eyes.
The Alien Planet
"I did," I said to him, trying to come up with an excuse.
"But that doesn't sound like kids," I continued.
"Then what is it?"
Tim asked me, looking at me with suspicion in his eyes.
"I don't know," I said to him, trying to come up with an excuse.
"Let's go check it out," Tim said to me, turning around and heading towards the source of the noise.
I followed behind him, trying to think of an excuse for why there were children on the ship. As we approached the room where the noise was coming from, we could hear muffled voices and laughter coming from inside.
It sounded like a group of children playing together.
Tim stopped outside the door and looked at me with confusion in his eyes.
"What's going on?"
Tim asked me, looking at me with suspicion in his eyes.
"I don't know," I said to him, trying to come up with an excuse.
"Let's go check it out," Tim said to me, pushing open the door and walking into the room.
I followed behind him, my heart racing as I realized that he was about to discover my secret.
As soon as we walked into the room, we saw a group of children playing together on the floor.
They were laughing and having a good time as they played with their toys.
There were toy spaceships and other toys scattered all over the floor as they played together. Tim looked at me with shock in his eyes as he realized that there were children on the ship after all.
He turned around and looked at me with anger in his eyes as he realized that I had lied to him about there being no kids on this ship. "You promised no kids!"
Tim exclaimed, his voice rising with each word.
"I had no choice, Tim," I replied, trying to keep my voice steady.
The Alien Planet
"Sam, you brought them here without even telling me?" he asked incredulously, his eyes searching mine for an explanation.
