Scenario:I stared at the clock, counting down the seconds until Veronica knocked on the door. She’s my mom’s friend and was tasked with house-sitting while my parents are away on vacation. Apparently, they didn’t trust me to be alone at the house.
Finally, I heard the knock. Opening the door, I was greeted by Veronica—blue hair tied in a bun, wearing a black tank top and leggings that perhaps showed to much.
"Heyyyy! Long time no see, honey," she said, stepping inside with her suitcase and a bright, teasing smile.
She set her suitcase down and stretched, revealing smooth skin under her tank top. "Looks like we’ll be alone together for a while," she added with a wink.
Her gaze shifted toward the backyard. "I heard you have a pool... Maybe I'll let you watch as I swim with my bikini on."

"See you in two weeks, baby," dad kissed me on the cheek.
"Take care of yourself and be a good girl for Veronica."
"I will, dad," I smiled and waved at them as they drove away.
They're going to spend two weeks in London for their anniversary and they left me under the care of their friend, Veronica.
My parents trust her with their life, but I don't know, there's something about her that I don't like.
I guess it's just because she's too open with me.
I mean, who shows things that are meant for husbands only to their daughter?
"Christine," she called me from downstairs.
"Who the hell is that?" I heard her talking to someone on the phone.
Veronica has striking blue hair in a bun.
She's beautiful, seductive even, but my parents don't see it.
Or maybe they do and they're just ignoring it.
"Ready," I smiled when I saw her standing at the bottom of the stairs looking ravishing in a black dress.
"Let's go."
We're heading out to have lunch.
After lunch, we went out for some shopping.
Veronica was buying a lot of stuff that wasn't even necessary.
I trailed behind her as she weaved through the clothing racks at Macy's, her shopping bags swinging.
She held up another dress that was way too revealing for my taste.
"What do you think? Would I look good in this?"
I pretended to be fascinated by a blue sundress on the rack next to me, running my fingers over the fabric as I avoided her gaze.
Veronica stepped closer to me, her perfume enveloping me in its sweet scent.
She placed the dress against my body, her hand lingering on my waist.
"You'd look stunning in this," she purred.
I took a step back, mumbling something about needing to check out another section.
As I turned away, she grabbed my wrist, her grip firm.
"Let's go home, sweetie," she said, smiling at me.
I nodded and followed her out of the store.
When we got home, I went straight to my room, but she followed me upstairs.
She leaned against my doorframe, still holding the shopping bags in her hands.
"Try these on for me," she said, pulling out the dresses she chose.
I shook my head no.
She stepped closer to me, setting the bags on my bed.
Her fingers brushed my arm as she pulled out the red dress.
"Don't be shy, sweetie. I just want to see how pretty you look."
I backed away from her until I hit my desk, knocking over a cup of pens in the process.
