MidReal Story

Tempted by My Mom’s Friend

Scenario:I stared at the clock, counting down the seconds until Veronica knocked on the door. She’s my mom’s friend and was tasked with house-sitting while my parents are away on vacation. Apparently, they didn’t trust me to be alone at the house. Finally, I heard the knock. Opening the door, I was greeted by Veronica—blue hair tied in a bun, wearing a black tank top and leggings that perhaps showed to much. "Heyyyy! Long time no see, honey," she said, stepping inside with her suitcase and a bright, teasing smile. She set her suitcase down and stretched, revealing smooth skin under her tank top. "Looks like we’ll be alone together for a while," she added with a wink. Her gaze shifted toward the backyard. "I heard you have a pool... Maybe I'll let you watch as I swim with my bikini on."

"See you later, sweetie," my mom said as she gave me one last hug before they left.
My parents are going to be on vacation for a month and they're leaving me in the care of their friend Veronica.
"Take good care of her, Veronica," my dad said as he gave Veronica a hug.
"Of course, Mateo," she said with a smile.
"Don't worry."
My dad trusts her completely, but I'm not so sure.
I've only met her once and that was at their wedding.
I just get this weird feeling about her.
As for my mom, she's friends with Veronica and that's all that matters.
I guess I'll just have to wait and see.
"Ready to go?"
My dad asked me as he opened the trunk of their limo.
"Bye, Christine," my maid said as she waved at me through the kitchen window.

"Bye, Maria," I said as I waved back.
I watched as they drove away and then turned to go back inside.
Veronica was already in the living room unpacking her suitcase.
She's wearing a black tank top and leggings that are a little too tight.
She has blue hair that's in a bun and she's wearing a lot of jewelry.
She looks like one of those women who sell makeup on TV.
She's very pretty, but she's also very thin.
"Are you settled in?"
I asked her as I walked into the living room.
"I am. Thanks for asking," she said as she put her clothes in the drawers of the dresser in the guest bedroom.
"Can I help you with anything?"
I asked her as I watched her put her clothes away.
Tempted by My Mom’s Friend
"No. I'm good. Thanks for offering," she said as she closed the drawer and turned to face me.
"So, where is everything?"
She asked me as she looked around the room.
"The kitchen is through that door and the dining room is through that door," I said, pointing to each door. "The living room is this way," I said, pointing to my left.
"The study is this way," I said, pointing to my right.
"And upstairs are the bedrooms."
"Show me around," she said with a smile.
"Okay," I said as I walked out of the bedroom and down the hall to the kitchen.
"This is the kitchen. This is the dining room. This is the living room. This is the study. Upstairs are the bedrooms."
"Nice house," she said as she looked around each room.
"My dad likes rare books. He has a lot of them in his study."
"Let me see," she said as she walked into his study.
"He has a lot of them."
"Yes, he does," she said as she looked at all of them.
"He has good taste."
"Yeah, he does," I said as I watched her run her fingers over the spines of his books.
"I think we've seen enough for now."
"You're right."
Tempted by My Mom’s Friend
She walked back into the living room and sat on the couch.
She picked up a magazine and started flipping through it.
I sat in the chair across from her and pretended to read a book.
I'm not really reading, though.
I'm watching her.
She's wearing a lot of makeup and she smells like perfume.
She's very pretty, but I don't like her.
I don't know why, but I just don't.
"Veronica," I said as I looked up at her.
"Yes, Christine," she said as she looked up at me.
"Do you believe in mind games?"
"I do. Depends on who's playing," she said with a smirk on her face.
Tempted by My Mom’s Friend
"Mind games?"
I asked her, pretending to be confused.
"Yes. Mind games," she said as she went back to flipping through the magazine.
"Do you ever wonder what it would be like to change someone's thoughts?"
I asked her, pretending to be curious.
She chuckled and looked at me with a mischievous glint in her eyes.
"Depends on who you're trying to change," she said with a smile.
"I was thinking of you," I said as I leaned forward and looked into her eyes.
"What if I could change yours?"
She laughed, but then stopped when she saw the look on my face.
She shifted uncomfortably in her seat and looked away from me.
"What would you change?" she asked me, still not looking at me.
Tempted by My Mom’s Friend
"I'd make you tell me why you're really here," I said, not breaking eye contact.
Her smile faltered for a moment before she composed herself.
"Maybe I'm here to help you discover something about yourself," she replied cryptically, her eyes meeting mine once more.
Tempted by My Mom’s Friend
"I'm not sure what you mean," I said, settling back into the armchair.
Veronica returned to flipping through the magazine, but her eyes kept darting toward me.
I decided to test my theory and see if I could affect her thoughts.
I focused intently on her, trying to sense any connection between us.
After a few moments, her gaze wavered and she blinked rapidly.
"Christine, are you okay?" she asked, her voice tinged with uncertainty.
"Yes, I am," I replied, my concentration unwavering.
I could feel a strange connection forming between us, as if our minds were linked in some way.
Veronica shifted uncomfortably in her seat, her hand trembling slightly as she reached for her glass of water.
A few drops spilled onto the table before she brought it to her lips.
Tempted by My Mom’s Friend
I watched her closely, noticing the subtle changes in her demeanor.
Her eyes flickered between me and the magazine, as if she were struggling to maintain her composure.
It was as if she were trying to solve a puzzle, but couldn't quite figure out the solution.
I decided to test my theory further, pushing the boundaries of our connection.
I leaned forward, my gaze locked intensely on Veronica.
Her eyes met mine, and for a moment, time seemed to stand still.
Her expression shifted from confidence to bewilderment.
"Christine," she murmured, her voice unsteady.
I maintained our gaze, willing her to reveal more.
Slowly, she placed the magazine aside and stood up, her movements uncertain.
She approached me cautiously, as if unsure of what to expect.
"Why do I feel like you're inside my head?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
"I think you already know the answer," I replied, my voice calm yet firm.
She hesitated, then nodded slowly, as if acknowledging a truth she'd been avoiding.
Tempted by My Mom’s Friend
Veronica began to pace the room, her movements tense and uncertain.
Her eyes darted toward me, filled with a mix of curiosity and fear.
I sensed an unfamiliar power surging within me, compelling me to reach out mentally.
I focused intently on Veronica, willing her to relax.
Her shoulders dropped, and she took a deep breath, visibly calming.
"Christine," she said softly, "what are you doing to me?"
I smiled slightly, maintaining eye contact.
"Just helping you see things differently," I replied.
She nodded slowly, her expression shifting from confusion to admiration.
Tempted by My Mom’s Friend
Veronica sat across from me, her eyes darting nervously.
I leaned back in my chair, observing her every move.
Her fingers fidgeted with the hem of her tank top, a clear sign of unease.
"Christine," she began, her voice trembling slightly, "I feel... different around you."
I nodded, maintaining eye contact.
"It's just us here," I replied softly, watching as her defenses crumbled.
She hesitated, then slowly moved closer, as if drawn by an invisible force.
Her hand reached out tentatively, resting on mine.
"What are you doing to me?" she whispered.
"I'm helping you unlock what's already inside," I said, my voice steady and reassuring.
Veronica's eyes widened, realization dawning on her face.
"You mean... I've had this power all along?" she asked, a mix of fear and excitement in her tone.
Tempted by My Mom’s Friend
I nodded, my gaze unwavering.
Her hand lingered on mine, seeking answers.
I leaned in, the air between us crackling with unspoken tension.
"What if this is just the beginning?" I whispered, my voice steady and firm.
Her breath hitched, and she nodded slowly, as if drawn by an invisible force.
I focused intently, willing her to see the truth of our connection.
Her lips parted slightly, and I closed the distance, pressing my lips to hers.
The kiss was tentative at first, then deepened as she responded, her initial hesitation melting away.
Tempted by My Mom’s Friend
Veronica pulled back slightly, her eyes wide with a mix of surprise and intrigue.
I could see the internal struggle playing out on her face, a battle between her own will and the influence I seemed to exert over her.
"Christine," she murmured, almost breathless, "what is happening to me?"
I leaned back, watching her closely.
"You're beginning to understand," I replied softly, "that you are mine... you cannot resist my mental power."
Veronica's eyes flickered with a mix of defiance and curiosity.
"But what if I don't want to be controlled?" she challenged, her voice gaining strength.
I smiled gently, sensing the shift within her.
Tempted by My Mom’s Friend
Her defiance flickered, a small flame against the growing fire of my influence.
Her eyes locked onto mine, searching for a way out, but finding only my unwavering will.
I leaned forward, my voice steady and calm.
"You want this," I whispered, feeling the power ripple between us.
Her resistance crumbled, her hand reaching for mine once more, this time with intent.
Together, we stood, the room's shadows stretching long as evening fell.
"Let's explore the night," I suggested, guiding her toward the door.
Tempted by My Mom’s Friend
We stepped outside, the cool evening air caressing our skin.
Veronica's hand clung to mine, a silent acceptance of the path we were on.
I led her toward the garden, where moonlight cast silver shadows across the lush green grass.
We paused by the pool, its surface reflecting the night sky above.
Veronica's gaze lingered on the water's surface, mesmerized by its tranquility.
"It's beautiful," she murmured, her voice tinged with awe and something deeper.
I nodded, feeling the energy between us intensify.
"Why don't you take a swim?" I suggested, my words laced with a subtle command.
Veronica hesitated, her eyes flickering with uncertainty.
"Will you join me?" she asked, her voice a mix of curiosity and challenge.
I smiled, nodding slowly. "Of course, I wouldn't let you face the depths alone."
