Scenario:My friend Mia invited me to a swimsuit party. But the moment I arrived, I realized something was off. Everywhere I looked, there were only girls—laughing, chatting, and having fun in the pool. And then I realized—I’m the only guy at the party.

When I got home from the gym, there was a message on my cell.
Mia: Hey!
I’m having a party tonight and I’d love for you to come.
It’s a swimsuit party, so be prepared.
See you tonight!
When I walked into Mia’s house, there were already a bunch of people there.
The first thing I noticed was all the girls were in swimsuits—except Mia, who was wearing a robe.
She came over to me and gave me a hug.
"Hey! Thanks for coming."
I looked around at all the strange women.
"Um, no problem. I guess I didn’t realize it was a swimsuit party."
Mia laughed.
"Yeah. I should have mentioned that."
"You think?"
She blushed.
"I guess I should have. It’s a girls’ night, but when I got your invitation, I thought it would be fun if you came. Plus, you’re the only guy here, so you can be the prize."
I wasn’t sure how I felt about that.
As I looked around, I realized all the women were staring at me.
Some of them looked familiar, but I couldn’t remember from where.
Mia must have seen me looking around.
"Some of these women are my friends and coworkers. Some of their friends were invited, too."
"Okay."
