MidReal Story

Stuck with Luna

Scenario:Wuki College was supposed to be my safe haven—a school with less pressure and more freedom after the health scares I’d endured. I loved it here. However, there's one thing I don't like about it: this girl called "Luna". She is a bully while being popular and the most beautiful girl in college. As the new kid, I’m one of her common targets. Tonight, after classes, I headed to the library to grab some books to read in my dorm. Luna followed me, as always. She held the book I’d been searching for, smirking. “Want it, nerd? Why not fight me for it?” As she was saying, the lights suddenly turned off as it was the closing time for it. I rushed to the exit but it was already locked. Then the lights went out, plunging us into darkness. The doors were locked. “Looks like I am stuck with a stuck-up nerd like you.”

I'm walking down the long corridor of Wuki College.
I'm new here, and I want to make a fresh start.
My name is Lana.
I have curly brown hair and soft hazel eyes.
I'm petite and shy, but I'm not that weak.
I always believe that silence is not an indication of weakness.
Sometimes, it's better to stay quiet and wait for the right moment to react.
"Hey, Lana," a familiar voice said.
I looked up and smiled at my friend Alex Chen.
He wore glasses and had short black hair.
He's tall and really smart.
We met in the entrance exam, and we became friends immediately.
"Hi," I said with a smile.
"Are you ready for the first day of school?"
"Yes, of course," I replied.
"I just need to ask about something. Do you know where the toilet is?"
"Oh, it's just down that hallway," Alex said, pointing to the left.
"Thanks," I said with appreciation.
"You should hurry up. The bell will ring any minute now," he reminded me.
"I know. I'll be quick," I said and started walking toward the toilet.
Just as I turned around a corner, I collided with someone.
I looked up and saw a stunning girl with long blonde hair and piercing blue eyes.
She was extremely beautiful, but her gaze was cold.
Stuck with Luna
"I'm sorry," I said and stepped back.
I still looked up at her.
She was taller than me, thanks to her designer boots.
Her lip curled into a sneer as she stared down at me.
She was the most beautiful girl in college, but also the meanest.
Everyone knew her as Luna, and they were all afraid of her.
"Watch where you're going, nerd," she said and brushed off her clothes where I touched them, like I was dirt.
The other students slowed their pace to watch us.
"Sorry," I said again.
"You should be sorry," she said loudly enough for everyone to hear.
Stuck with Luna
"Look what you did to my new blouse."
I took a deep breath, stood my ground, and met her gaze without flinching.
"I said I'm sorry," I replied.
"What else do you want?"
I asked, keeping my voice steady.
Her eyes narrowed.
"You should pay for it," she said.
"Or else," she added, her voice cold and menacing.
The students in the hallway started snickering.
Some of them had already pulled out their phones to record the scene.
I gripped my textbooks tighter against my chest, but I wouldn't give her the satisfaction of seeing me cry.
Alex stepped forward, positioning himself slightly between us.

"That's enough, Luna," he said firmly.
Luna's perfectly glossed lips curled into a cruel smile as she turned her attention to him.
"Defending your little girlfriend?" she taunted, tossing her blonde hair over her shoulder.
I touched Alex's arm, silently telling him to let it go.
