Besim Imeri head of unit local economic development prepare best document for municipality of tearce create swot and PESTLE analise
My name is Besim Imeri and I am the head of unit of local economic development in the Municipality of Tearce.
I am preparing a document for my municipality to create a SWOT and PESTLE analysis.
The purpose of this document is to present the internal and external factors that will affect the economy of the Municipality of Tearce.
The SWOT analysis will present the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of the economy of the Municipality of Tearce.
The PESTLE analysis will present the political, economic, social, technological, legal, and environmental factors that will affect the economy of the Municipality of Tearce.
The mayor of the Municipality of Tearce, Luan Shala, has requested me to prepare this document in order to understand better the economy of the municipality and to create a strategic plan for its development.
I have started my research by analyzing the internal factors that affect the economy of the Municipality of Tearce.
The strengths of the economy of the Municipality of Tearce are:
* Natural resources: The Municipality of Tearce is rich in natural resources such as water, forests, and minerals.
* Agricultural production: The Municipality of Tearce is known for its agricultural production, especially in fruits and vegetables.
* Labor force: The labor force in the Municipality of Tearce is young and educated.
* Strategic location: The Municipality of Tearce is located near the city of Gostivar and has a good connection with the capital city Skopje.
The weaknesses of the economy of the Municipality of Tearce are:
I sat at my cluttered desk, surrounded by stacks of papers and empty coffee cups.
I was pouring over the labor force statistics for the Municipality of Tearce.
The numbers revealed a young and educated workforce, full of potential and eager to contribute to the economy.
However, the statistics also showed that there were limited job opportunities available in the municipality, leading to a brain drain as skilled workers sought employment elsewhere.
I scribbled some notes in my SWOT analysis document, identifying this as both a strength and a glaring weakness.
My phone buzzed, interrupting my thoughts.
I answered it, expecting it to be one of my colleagues from the municipality.
Instead, it was Ermal Dula, a local business owner who had invested heavily in the municipality.
"Besim, I'm calling to express my concerns about the lack of infrastructure in the municipality," Ermal said, his voice tinged with frustration.
"It's difficult for me to retain skilled workers when they don't have access to basic necessities like clean water and sanitation. Not to mention the poor condition of the roads and transportation system."
I nodded sympathetically, even though he couldn't see me.
Ermal's concerns echoed my own findings in the SWOT analysis.
The lack of infrastructure was a major weakness that hindered the municipality's ability to attract and retain businesses and investments. "I understand your concerns, Ermal," I said.
"I'm currently working on a SWOT analysis for the municipality and I will make sure to include your concerns in the report."
Ermal thanked me and we ended the call.
I added some more notes to my SWOT analysis document, highlighting the need for infrastructure development as a key area for improvement.
With a sigh, I packed up my things and headed home for the day.
