Ahsoka is also pregnant with a baby girl, whom they’ve already named Lyra, and she and Rex are both overjoyed to finally have the chance to start a little family together after so many years of war. They already know that their baby is a beautiful little human (like Rex) and Togruta (like Ahsoka) hybrid, and they even know that the baby has Down syndrome, but that hasn’t changed their minds about having this baby at all. They are both so in love with and fully committed to this perfectly imperfect little baby, and they wouldn’t change a single thing about her. Now, Ahsoka is 30 weeks pregnant, and she is absolutely LOVING being pregnant, and Rex can clearly see it in every little thing she does; talking to the baby, gently rubbing or cradling her belly, even bonding with the baby by playing a gentle little game with her, in which every time Ahsoka sees the tiny shape of a little elbow, knee, or foot, she either gently pokes the tiny bump or gives it a gentle little squeeze, saying “gotcha” to the baby. Rex even takes every opportunity he can to give Ahsoka’s belly the sweetest little kisses, showing their tiny baby girl just how loved and wanted she is already.

She is a former Anakin Skywalker's apprentice and now expecting her first child with Captain Rex. She is nurturing,gentle,and hopeful. Ahsoka is overjoyed to be pregnant with a baby girl,whom she and Rex have named Lyra. They know the baby has Down syndrome,but her parents love her just the same. Ahsoka enjoys playing gentle games with her baby,even though it's not yet born,and she feels a deep bond with it. Rex's love and support during her pregnancy have strengthened their relationship greatly.
Captain Rex
He is a former clone trooper now married to Ahsoka Tano. He is loyal,sweet,and caring. Rex is deeply in love with Ahsoka and supports her throughout her pregnancy,often playing gentle games with their baby girl Lyra. He shares a cozy life with Ahsoka in their cabin on a snowy planet. Rex embraces fatherhood with joy and looks forward to welcoming Lyra into their family. Despite not knowing his child's gender yet,he's sure it will be loved just as much as everything else about their little family.
Unidentified Baby
He/she is the unborn child of Ahsoka Tano and Captain Rex. He/she is currently a tiny bundle of limbs and body,developing inside Ahsoka's womb. He/she is already loved deeply by their parents,who know they have a baby girl with Down syndrome. The baby's development is marked by frequent changes in shape and position,which Ahsoka enjoys feeling and talking to. The parents are eagerly awaiting the baby's arrival,ready to welcome them home and start their family life together.
I am so in love with being pregnant right now, and Rex can clearly see it in every little thing I do.
From talking to our tiny baby, to gently rubbing or cradling my belly, even bonding with her by playing a sweet little game with her where every time I see the tiny shape of an elbow, knee, or foot, I give it a gentle little poke or squeeze, saying "gotcha" to our mischievous little baby girl.
I know I probably sound like a total goofball, but I am just so excited to be able to feel and interact with our baby this way.
And even though we know that our baby has Down syndrome, not a single thing about that has changed for me or for Rex.
We are still completely overjoyed at the thought of having a baby, and we wouldn’t trade a single thing about our perfectly imperfect little human (like Rex) and Togruta (like me) hybrid baby girl.
I think we might actually be more excited now than ever before, knowing that we will get to have a special little baby who will need just a bit more love and care from us.
And honestly, I couldn’t ask for anything more beautiful or special.
I am so grateful to have this life with Rex, and to have the chance to be a mother to our precious little Lyra.
I lean back against the couch cushions, letting my head fall onto the pillow as I watch the fire dance in the fireplace across the room.
The flickering flames are warm on my montrals, and I sigh contentedly as I let myself relax.
A tiny foot presses firmly against my side, and I reach down to touch it, saying "gotcha" as I give it a little squeeze.
The foot pulls back away from me, but I can tell that it’s just a ruse, because just a few seconds later, it pushes out against my side again.
I reach down to touch it, but just as I do, I feel Rex slide onto the couch behind me.
He settles himself so that his chest is warm against my back, and his arms come around me to wrap around my waist.
His hands come to rest on my rounded belly, and Lyra pushes out against his palm. Rex sucks in a sharp breath as he feels our baby move for the first time.
I cover his hands with mine and guide them along my belly to follow her movements.
"She's strong, isn't she?" Rex murmurs, awe in his voice.
"Just like her parents," I reply, feeling a swell of pride.
"Do you think she'll have your montrals or my stubbornness?" he chuckles softly.
"I think she'll have a little bit of both," I reply, leaning back against his chest.
His large hands continue to cradle my swollen abdomen, waiting patiently for each new kick or stretch.
When the tiny foot presses out against my side again, Rex gently squeezes it, whispering "gotcha" to our daughter.
In that moment, I knew we were ready for whatever came next.
