I was adopted when I was a year old.
My adoptive parents, the Graves, had two biological children of their own, Mark and Emily.
Mark was five when I came along, and Emily was three.
They were both really young to understand what it meant to have a new brother, but from what I can remember they always treated me like I was theirs.
I don’t remember much before living with the Graves.
Sometimes I wonder about my real parents, but I don’t feel like I’m missing anything because the Graves are my family in every way that matters.
Growing up with Mark and Emily was fun most of the time.
We all shared the same room with two sets of bunk beds.
Mark and I were the bottom bunks, and Emily had the top bunk all to herself because she was a girl.
