Despite the hefty price, Liam's curiosity got the best of him, and he placed a bid, winning the game. When the package arrived, it contained an old, unmarked CD with a note that simply read: "Play at your own risk." Undeterred, Liam inserted the CD into his computer and launched the game. The familiar Sonic title screen appeared, but with an unsettling twist. I was rummaging through an old auction site I used to frequent as a kid when I came across something that immediately caught my attention.

The title of the listing was "S0n1c" with no description or image.

I knew right away it was a Sonic game, but I had never seen anything like it before.

The username of the seller was some gibberish that looked like a cat walked across the keyboard, and the feedback was minimal.

Despite this, I couldn't resist placing a bid on it.

To my surprise, I won the auction for a measly twenty dollars.

I paid for the game and waited.

It took nearly three weeks to arrive, and when it finally did, I was disappointed to find nothing but an old CD-ROM in a plain white envelope.
