Scenario:In grade 8, the characters: Michelle, Wilhelmina, Lucy, Ariel, Abigail, Mia, Elliot, Sébastien, Owen, Jack, Sean and Will. Michelle has a crush on Elliot. Wilhelmina, Lucy, and Ariel have a crush on Sebastien. All the girls are best friends. All the boys are best friends. Elliot and Owen especially. They all go to the same school.

I was sitting in English class staring at the back of a boy's head.
His hair was short and black, but it was cut in a way that made it look stylish.
I wondered what his face looked like, and I found myself wishing that he would turn around so I could see.
As soon as I had the thought, he turned around and caught me staring.
Our eyes met for a second before I looked down at my paper.
I heard him cough, and then he turned back around to face the front of the classroom.
The boy whose face I wanted to see was named Elliot Thompson.
He sat two rows in front of me, and he was one of the star players on the school's football team.
I had been staring at him for weeks, trying to get up the nerve to talk to him.
It wasn't easy, though.
He had a lot of friends, and they all seemed really cool.
