I'd been searching for my parents for days.

They'd gone missing on their latest XFiles case, and I was getting nowhere trying to find them.

As the son of Fox Mulder and Dana Scully, two of the FBI's best former agents--and now XFiles agents--I knew that I had to be better than them.

At least when it came to finding them.

I couldn't let them die on me like this.

I was tall and dark haired, just like my father.

I had the same eyes, nose and mouth as my mother.

I was a combination of the two of them, the best of both worlds.

I had their intelligence and resourcefulness.

I would not let them down.

I sat at my computer, raking through the cameras on the highway that they'd been on.

There were only so many places that they could have gone, and yet I had no idea where they were.
