Radiant Transformation: A Time Traveler's Journey

Scenario:When Jackson was testing the time machine, he was teleported to San Francisco in the United States in the 1950s due to an experimental error, and the radiation from the machine caused him to change from a man into a young blonde beauty. He also found that the communicator, the only thing that could allow him to return to the future, was crushed by the car behind him, and he was naked at this time. Fortunately, the street was very deserted and there were not many people. Later, he met a woman who took in the homeless Jackson, and Jackson also began to work in the woman's cafe.

An experiment gone wrong threw me back in time more than sixty years.
The worst problem is that I’m now in the body of a woman, which would be fine—after all, I can have fun with my new assets, right?
—except I’m stuck in the past and I have no idea how to get back.
Now, let’s take it from there…
Shit, that was one hell of a hangover.
I woke up in an alley, somewhere in San Francisco.
I didn’t remember how I’d gotten here or why I was lying on the cold, hard concrete.
In fact, I didn’t remember a thing from last night.
I sat up slowly and rubbed my eyes.
My head was spinning, and I felt like throwing up.
Not a fun way to wake up, especially for a guy who doesn’t even drink.
I froze when I saw my hand.
Whoa, that wasn’t right.
I looked at my arms and legs and panicked when I saw that they were smooth and hairless.
A quick inspection confirmed that everything was different.
I was a woman… And a naked one too.
I stood up abruptly, trying to come to terms with what had happened to me.
I didn’t have time to freak out about it, though.
The first order of business was to find something to wear.
The alley looked pretty deserted, so I quickly crouched down and did a quick scan of the area.
There were a couple of garbage cans not far from where I’d woken up.
They were filled to the brim with food wrappers and empty bottles, but there were some papers thrown in there too.
I didn’t give it much thought and reached into one of the bins.
With a sigh of relief, I pulled out a large paper bag, which I then hurriedly put on me like a dress.
It wasn’t much, but it gave me enough cover to keep my modesty intact.
It was time to get out of there before someone saw me.
I took a few deep breaths.
I was alone in the alley when this happened.
It was still early morning, but the sun had already come up.
There were no people in sight.
How did this happen?
Why did it happen?
I had so many questions and no answers.
I had no idea what was going on or what had made me come here.
I’d been part of an experiment with a time machine.
My job was to keep the machine running while the scientists did their work.
Somehow, things had gone wrong.
I was still in that same machine when the alarm went off, warning everyone of an imminent malfunction.
I remember being blinded by bright blue light, and that’s it.
I remember nothing else after that.
I stepped out of the alley.
I needed to find my bearings and figure out where I was.
I’d only been here for a week or so before everything happened, and we’d been too busy working to explore the city.
We were here for business… Or rather, for an experiment that could potentially change the course of history.
Radiant Transformation: A Time Traveler's Journey
I spotted a sign above a store entrance… It read “Powell Street”.
All right, so that’s where I am.
Now what?
I looked around at my surroundings, trying to decide what to do next.
I realized that my lab coat was still in the alley where I’d woken up.
It had a pocket… And it was still early enough that no one would see me if I went back for it.
It was a risk, but a risk worth taking.
That coat had my communicator in it… And without that device, I was pretty much screwed.
It was the only way for me to get back to my own time!
I couldn’t believe I’d forgotten about it!
I took a deep breath and went back to get my coat.
There was no one around at that time of day, so I managed to get it back without drawing any attention to myself.
The communicator wasn’t broken… Not that much could break on that thing anyway… It was just that the power cell had been drained completely and needed recharging urgently!
Which meant that if I wanted to go back home, I would need to recharge this thing first!
But how?
My head started spinning again as panic set in.
This wasn’t good… This wasn’t good at all!
How would I recharge it here?
How long would it take?
It felt like someone had punched me in the gut as I came to terms with what that meant…
I would be stuck here for who knew how long…
If I could even make it back at all…
No one knew what had happened to me!
And if they didn’t manage to fix that thing fast enough…
Tears started streaming down my face without warning as fear and desperation took over me.
I couldn’t believe this was happening to me!
What could I do?
There was no point in staying here any longer…
I should start walking…
Maybe if I walked long enough, I would come across something…
Or someone who could help me…
At first no one really paid attention to me as they went about their business…
But then a couple of guys spotted me from across the street, and their eyes lit up with desire…
Shit, they were coming my way!
I turned around quickly, not wanting to see them or what they were planning on doing next, and started walking away as fast as I could in my makeshift paper bag dress and bare feet.
“Hey, where you going, sugar?”
one of them called after me, just before they started running in my direction.
I was a fast runner, though, and I managed to put some distance between us pretty quickly.
I didn’t wait for them to come after me again, so I started running again, hoping to get as far away from them as possible before they came to their senses and decided to give chase again.
I kept running until I could run no more, and then I just stopped, bent over, and tried to catch my breath.
My throat was dry and my feet hurt like crazy, but at least those guys hadn’t managed to catch up with me.
Radiant Transformation: A Time Traveler's Journey
As I caught my breath, I realized that I was standing in front of a small café with a sign that said “Emily’s Café” in front of it.
The smell of coffee coming from inside made my mouth water and my stomach growl.
It had been a while since I had eaten or drank anything…
And maybe a cup of coffee could help me clear my head a little bit?
It was worth a shot…
As I walked in, the smell coming from the café intensified even more, and the warmth of the place wrapped itself around me like a big hug.
I didn’t know why exactly, but that was just what I needed at that moment…
“Good morning,” a woman behind the counter said when she saw me walking in.
“Welcome to Emily’s Café.”
The woman in question was chubby and middle-aged, with her graying brown hair tied up in a bun on top of her head and wearing a floral dress that looked like it belonged in another era entirely, and she was smiling at me like she was genuinely happy to see me.
“Good morning,” I replied, feeling a little less panicked now that I was inside and enjoying the warmth and the smell of the place so much.
“Are you new in the neighborhood?”
she asked, motioning for me to take a seat at the counter, which I did without thinking too much about it.
“I am,” I told her, watching as she filled up a cup with coffee and put it down in front of me a moment later.
“Thank you,” I told her, smiling at her gratefully, before taking a sip of the coffee, which was still way too hot, but tasted amazing nonetheless.
“You’re welcome,” Emily said, watching me as I sat there and sipped my coffee.
“It’s free for first-timers,” she explained when I gave her a questioning look, “so drink up.”
And so I did, taking one sip after another until the cup was empty and my throat felt better…
That was the best coffee I had ever had, no doubt about that!
“Feeling better?”
Emily asked when I put down the empty cup and let out a loud burp that made me feel incredibly embarrassed all of a sudden.
I was about to apologize when she put down another cup of coffee in front of me.
“Drink this, too,” she said, and I couldn’t help but comply, taking the cup and taking a big gulp right away.
“Thank you so much,” I said after I had finished that one, too.
“I really needed that!”
“You’re welcome, dear,” she said, wiping her hands on her apron like she was trying to find something to do with herself.
“I can’t help but notice that you look a little worse for wear?
Are you homeless?”
“I am at that…”
I told her, even though that wasn’t completely accurate.
I did not have a home in this time period, that was true enough.
And I certainly looked like someone who had been living on the streets for quite some time.
But those guys had taken everything from me, hadn’t they?
And what would I even tell her?
That I was from the future, and that I had no idea how I had ended up there or how to get back?
“I’m so sorry to hear that,” Emily said, putting her hand over mine.
Radiant Transformation: A Time Traveler's Journey
“If there’s anything I can do to help…”
As I sat there, feeling a little less panicked now that I had had a few sips of coffee, I watched as a car came racing down the street right toward me.
I was about to jump out of the way when someone inside the car slammed on the brakes, making it stop right before it would have hit me.
“Are you okay?”
the driver asked when I took a step back and put my hand on my heart.
She was a middle-aged woman with a kind face, who had been driving the car without her hat or gloves, which seemed strange to me for some reason.
I could see that she was wearing a dress suit that had been popular a few decades ago, but she had a coat over it to make up for the cold weather.
Those guys had taken everything from me, hadn’t they?
“Yeah,” I told her, even though I wasn’t sure if that was true or not.
I felt like I was going to have a heart attack after that almost-accident!
“Good,” she said, putting her hand over her heart as well.
“Thank God…”
She got out of the car and walked over to me to check if I was okay.
“I’m so sorry about that!”
she said when she saw that I was still in one piece.
“That’s quite alright,” I told her, even though it really wasn’t.
If I hadn’t been so distracted, that car wouldn’t have hit me in the first place.
I was just looking at all the stuff that was under it, being dragged along as it went down the street… And I could tell right away what it was the moment I saw it, couldn’t I?
It was the communicator I had used to get there in the first place, which meant that it was also my only way back!
I didn’t know what to do, so I just stood there in shock as I watched it being dragged away from me…
“I’m so sorry,” Emily said after she saw me staring after her car like a zombie for a moment or two, before she came over and put her hand on my shoulder.
“I’m so, so sorry…”
“You know what?”
I said, shrugging off her hand.
“It’s okay… It’s just… That was an experiment I was working on…
And now I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to get it back.”
“I’m so sorry,” she said again, even though I could tell that she wasn’t sure what to say in a situation like that.
“There’s nothing else you can do?”
she asked after a moment or two, and I shook my head, not really sure what I was going to do now, either.
“I don’t know,” I told her, watching as her car disappeared into the distance, still dragging along my only way home…
That was when I realized that I had nothing else to lose at this point, did I?
“Thank you for your help,” I told Emily before turning around and starting to walk away without looking back.
“Wait,” she called out after me before I had managed to leave the café entirely.
“Yes?”
I asked, turning around to look at her again, wondering what she wanted from me this time.
“It’s getting late, and it looks like it’s going to rain soon,” she said, pointing out the window at the sky that was getting darker by the minute.
“Why don’t you come over to my place for dinner?”
Radiant Transformation: A Time Traveler's Journey
I didn’t see the point in that, but I didn’t really feel like there was anything else I could do besides agreeing to go along with it either.
“Alright,” I told her with a somewhat forced smile on my face.
“If you’re okay with me coming over like this…”
“Of course not,” she said with a serious look on her face.
“But it looks like you could use some dinner and a place to stay for the night… And I’d like to know more about what you were working on back there, too.”
“There isn’t much to say,” I told her with a shake of my head, even though the truth was that there was so much more to it than even the government could have ever imagined…
“But dinner sounds nice,” I admitted after a moment or two, because it was getting colder by the minute out there…
And at least this way I would be able to get something hot to eat and a place to stay for the night too.
“Great,” Emily said with a smile before sliding into her car and gesturing for me to get inside too.
I climbed into the passenger seat and closed the door behind me, looking around for a seatbelt that didn’t seem to exist back then, before turning to look at Emily again and waiting for her to take me wherever we were going next.
Her car was a bright red 1955 Thunderbird…
I was so used to seeing cars like this all the time that I didn’t usually think anything of them any more…
But for some reason, seeing one like this now just made me feel better instantly, because it reminded me of home in a strange sort of way…
As soon as Emily started the engine and took off again down the road, though, I realized that there was something else wrong besides the fact that there wasn’t a seatbelt for me to put on…
I was still naked under that paper bag that I was using as a dress!
Worse still, it was starting to fall apart after all of the running around that I had been doing in it for the last few hours too.
I tried to hold it in place as best as I could while we drove along through the city…
But it was only a matter of time before it fell off entirely…
Or someone saw me through the window like this…!
“Here,” Emily said after a few minutes of driving without saying anything at all while she reached into the back seat of her car and grabbed something small and black that she then handed over to me.
“Put this on.”
It was a jacket…
Radiant Transformation: A Time Traveler's Journey
Not a jacket like what she was wearing right now though…
Hers was a pale pink color and made out of wool by the look of it…
The one she had given me was small and black and short-sleeved with a bright red patch on the front of it that said “Emily’s Cafe” in big white letters on it.
I don’t think that she meant for me to put it on like a shirt and nothing else underneath it like I did…
But at least now all of my important parts were covered up again.
“Thank you,” I said very quietly while I pulled it on over my shoulders and zipped it up as far as it would go…
Which wasn’t very far at all since it was so small and tight on me like this…
But at least now nobody could see that I was naked any more…
At least not unless they unzipped me or took the jacket off first!
We drove along for a few more minutes after that without saying anything at all while she wound her way through the city streets before finally pulling up outside another building that looked like yet another cafe just like the last one had been…
But this one wasn’t called “Marshall’s” at all…
“Here we are,” Emily said as she parked the car and turned off the engine before hopping out of the driver’s seat and coming around to my side again too even while I was still trying to figure out what was happening right now.
“I know that you said that you didn’t want to come and stay at my place…”
She started to say while she opened the door and climbed back in beside me to start explaining things to me again like I was a child even though I was actually older than her…
“But I can’t just leave you like this on the street either…Why don’t you come and stay with me tonight?
I have a guest room that you can use, and then we can try to find you something better tomorrow?”
I started to say that it was okay, and that I would manage somehow…
But then I remembered the fact that I didn’t have my wallet or my phone or anything like that with me any more…
So I didn’t have any way of paying for a room at a hotel any more even if I wanted to!
And this woman who didn’t even know me was offering to take me in right now, even after I had nearly caused an accident by running into the middle of the street like that!
I don’t think so,” she said quickly while she shook her head at me again and started to talk to me some more about it while she walked me through the front door of this new cafe that she owned and into a room in the back of the building that had a bed in it and not very much else besides that.
She looked around for a few minutes before finding what I expected to be a key for the door in one of her pockets, too, before handing it over to me and explaining where everything else was in here and how it all worked as well while I just stood there and listened to her for a few minutes without saying anything back in return at all.
I don’t think that you have anything to worry about at all if you stay here tonight,” she said with a smile after a few minutes of talking like this, trying to reassure me that she was telling the truth about this right now even though she knew that I didn’t believe her right now.
“We live in the best neighborhood in San Francisco…You’ll be safe here, I promise…”
After she said all of that, I knew that I had to say something back to her too…
Radiant Transformation: A Time Traveler's Journey
“Thank you,” I said after a long pause where I thought about what I wanted to say in return even as my face turned red from embarrassment again while I thought about how many times that I had made this woman smile like this already today even though she didn’t know anything about me at all.
I don’t know what I would do without you…”
As soon as she said that, Emily’s smile got even wider than before as she looked at me one more time before leaning in and giving me another big hug too even as my face turned even redder than before from embarrassment again after she did all of that while I tried to figure out what had just happened right now.
And then, after Emily finally let go of me again after hugging me so tightly like that, she turned around and walked back out of the room, closing the door behind her as she did so even while I stood there all alone by myself…Feeling very vulnerable and exposed again as well now even as I thought about everything that had happened today again after Emily left this room…
After everything that happened today, now I just wanted to go back home and forget all about this right now…But then, all of a sudden, I remembered what had happened to my clothes again too after my communicator got destroyed like this…And how they were all gone now!
And then, as soon as I remembered all of that, my face turned even redder than before from embarrassment again as well while I thought about it some more…Just when I thought that today couldn’t get any worse, after everything else that had already happened today already like this too!
“Is everything okay in there?”
After Emily knocked on the door a few minutes later like this, I knew that I didn’t have any other choice but to come out this time…Even though it was probably going to be very embarrassing for me after everything else had already happened today too!
“Yes,” I said after taking a deep breath and trying to smile while I did so even though I felt like crying instead while I said all of this at the same time after she asked me if everything was okay in here.
“I’m fine…”
As soon as Emily heard me say all of this, she opened the door and came back inside the room right away too while carrying an armful of clothes in her hands like this too…
“I brought you some clothes,” she said while she handed them over to me and watched me for a few minutes while I put them on all by myself too…
“How are you doing with them?”
Radiant Transformation: A Time Traveler's Journey
I asked while she came inside with all of them and handed them over for me to put them on as well while she did all of this, even though they were still in my hands at the same time too…
But then, as soon as she saw me trying on all of them in front of her like this, she also noticed how embarrassed and uncomfortable they were all making me feel at the same time too…
And so she asked me, “Are you okay?”
While she did all of this and noticed all of that too…
But then, as soon as she did, she also realized how uncomfortable and embarrassed they were making me feel while she did this too as well…
“You know what,” she said, “I think we should talk about something else instead…”
And then, after she saw just how uncomfortable and embarrassed they were making me feel when she saw them on me like this too, she also realized that it was finally time for her to change the subject too while she did all of this as well…
“Tell me more about yourself,” Emily said while we were eating breakfast together in her kitchen later on like this…
“Where are you from?”
she asked while we were talking about these things together like this…
“I’m from Kansas,” she said while she started telling me more about herself now too…
“And then my husband and I moved here together after we got married…”
she said while she went on and told me more about all of that too now too as well…
But then, after all of that happened now, and after everything else that had already happened earlier today, she also went on and told me even more about everything else that had happened between those times too now as well…
“I started coming here before we moved here too,” she said while she went on to tell me more about everything else that had happened between those times now too as well…
“And then my husband died a few years later…”
she said while she went on and told me even more about everything else that had happened with him there now too as well…
“He always wanted us to open up our own café together here one day…”
she said while she went on and told me even more about everything else that had happened with him there now too as well…
“And so one year later, I finally decided to do it!”
she said while she went on and told me even more about everything else that had happened since then there now too as well…
“He would be proud of you,” I told her while she finished telling me everything for now.
I know he would be.”
I can’t believe it.”
I told her while she did all of this right now.
“I thought for sure that you two did it all by yourself.”
Radiant Transformation: A Time Traveler's Journey
She laughed at me when I said all of those things to her like this now too.
“I’m glad you think so,” She told me.
But then, after I did, and after all of everything else had already happened too now, I also started to tell her everything else too now.
“Thank you so much,” I said to her too like this now.
“For letting me stay with you for a little bit.”
I didn’t even know her all of those things at all.
And not only that, but now because of all of those things with her too, now I was starting to get my life back on track because of her too now too.
“You’re very welcome,” Emily told me.
“It’s really no problem at all…”
“I just wanted to be sure to help you in any way I could.”
she said when I asked about all of those things to her too now.
“But if you don’t mind me asking, how did you end up in my café like that anyway?”
she asked me when we were eating breakfast later on like this now too.
“I really don’t know,”
I told her.
“I just woke up in an alley like that today…”
“And before that, I was just in bed sleeping…”
I never even saw or heard anything at all either…”
I thought for sure you would have been up to no good…”
She laughed at me when I said all of those things to her like this now.
“It’s really no problem at all,” She told me.
“I’m just happy that nothing bad happened to you is all…”
“Thank you so much,” I said to her like that too now.
It’s really nice of you.”
I knew right then and there that I would have never been able to thank her enough for everything she had already done for me so far like this either.
“Don’t worry about it,” She laughed at me and said too now.
I just want to be sure to help you out in any way I can.”
It’s really no problem at all…”
After we finished eating breakfast together like this now, and after I did everything else too now, Emily took me by the hand and walked me over to the law firm where I was going to be working with Mr.
Gardner and his wife.
When we got there, I was able to meet them both right away…
And I found out then and there just how nice and sweet they were too now.
“I want you both to meet Jackson Smith,” Emily said when we got there and went inside the building too now as well.
“She’s going to be working with you both from now on…”
Of course, they said “welcome” and “hello” to me too then as well.
And then after they did, Emily showed me around the office building and their house too like this.
She even showed me a room where I was going to be staying with them too as well…
After everything else had already happened earlier today with her too, I couldn’t believe it at all either.
And then after everything else happened with them too like this now, and after I did everything else too now, I was finally starting to feel like I was starting to get my life back on track too.
Radiant Transformation: A Time Traveler's Journey
Everything is going to be okay,” I said to myself then as well.
When I woke up this morning, I didn’t know what happened last night.
Last thing I knew before that was being back in 2017 testing out a time machine…
And now here I am in 1950s San Francisco turned into a woman…
I never imagined that this would happen to me when I was born is all…
But then again, who really would?
After having some breakfast with Emily and meeting Mr.
Gardner earlier today too, I went over to Emily’s café for some tea…
And while I was there, I spent the early part of the morning reading a book too now.
It’s not very often that I have any time for myself like this though…
So I really enjoyed it a lot today so far too as well.
Emily’s café is very busy and crowded most of the time.
It’s always busy with people coming in and out at all hours of the day and night too now.
Because of that, it’s been really hard on me lately too…
I’ve been working a lot and not getting enough rest either…
But today is different.
It’s the weekend and we are closed so I was able to take some time off to relax and enjoy the day too.
So far it’s been really nice too now.
After spending some time one reading and drinking tea, it was still only the early part of the afternoon.
So when I finished my tea, I decided to go back to my room and relax in bed for a little bit before it was time to go back down to help out again.
When I got back to my room and went inside though, that’s when everything else came back to me too…
Everything from last night and about what had happened to me made me feel so sick to my stomach too.
I didn’t know what else to do at all either.
So, after taking a deep breath, I just stood there and thought about what to do next about everything else too.
I was still feeling so sick and scared even thinking about it all.
But then after taking another deep breath again and trying to relax one more time too now, I decided that it would be best if I just took things slow and easy for myself like this too.
And so after that, I took off all of my clothes including everything that Emily had given me too as well.
After that, I walked over to the mirror on the wall in front of me and took a good look at myself right away.
