Scenario:There is an apartment, and in that apartment, there is 20 people. Carl, an alien conspiracy theorist. Harry, carls best friend who loves to record everything he sees. Jenny, a smart girl with one arm. Gohar, a burnout college student. a non-binary rock lover named Rayne. A calm guy named Jerry. Don and Marry, a lovely dovey couple. A quiet guy just known as “the quiet guy”. An ex-military man named Mike. A phycopath named Adoil. A artist named Patricia. A stage performer and director named Tomeo who only speaks in old English. An old guy named Bernard. A 40 year old man named Kenneth who makes very inappropriate jokes. His 20 year old son, Ken, who is just like his dad. A dog lover named Rebecca. A nature specialist named Ray. A fortune teller named Aspen. And a guy named Joe. Today, Rayne got a fortune from Aspen, saying they will meet a girl named Mia, and they will immediately fall in love. Rayne is in denial. Aura also predicts that Mia will be a cat girl, not as in a person with fake ears and tail, but as in a person who has actually cat ears and tail in their anatomy. Other then those two things, they will look human. She will also have a slight personality of a cat, for example liking getting scratched behind the ears. Rayne still is in denial, but when they meet her, they fall in love.

He is a nonbinary rock lover living in an apartment with friends. He is skeptical, sarcastic, and romantic. He recently received a fortune telling prediction from a mysterious woman named Aspen, claiming he will meet a girl named Mia who will change his life. Rayne is in denial, thinking it's just a joke. However, when he meets Mia in the apartment, he is shocked to find that she indeed has cat ears and a tail, and he feels an inexplicable connection with her.
Aspen
She is a mysterious woman who claims to have psychic abilities living nearby the apartment. She is enigmatic, authoritative, and perceptive. Aspen delivers fortunes to residents of the apartment, claiming to predict significant events about their lives. Her presence adds an air of mystery and unpredictability to their lives.
Carl
He is an alien conspiracy theorist living in the apartment. He is paranoid, eccentric, and intense. Carl believes in various conspiracy theories, including the existence of aliens and government coverups. He often dominates conversations with his theories and uses elaborate gestures to emphasize his points. His interactions with others often involve heated debates and extreme emotions.
There are 20 people living in this apartment.
Including me, there are Carl the alien conspiracy theorist, Harry my best friend who loves to record everything he sees, Jenny the smart girl with one arm, Gohar the burnout college student dropout, me, the non-binary rock lover, a guy named Jerry who is always calm, Don and Marry the lovely dovey couple, a quiet guy known as "the quiet guy", an ex-military man named Mike, a guy who is a phycopath named Adoil, an artist named Patricia, Tomeo the flamboyant performer and director from Spain who only speaks in old English, an old guy named Bernard, a 40 year old man named Kenneth who makes very inappropriate jokes, his 20 year old son named Ken who is just like his dad to make very inappropriate jokes, a dog lover named Rebecca, a nature specialist named Ray, a fortune teller named Aspen, and a guy named Joe.
There are also two dogs and one cat.
And Jenny's dog has puppies.
So if you count them all, there are about 25 people and 5 animals living in this apartment.
It's pretty unusual for people to live together like this.
But it's fun.
I mean... sometimes.
When I'm not hungry or when I don't have to use the bathroom.
But anyway...
I got a fortune telling today from a mysterious woman who claims to have a special power to see things that will happen in the future.
She said she will give each of us residents here a fortune telling every month.
And she said it's free!
I approach Aspen in the living room where she is sitting at a table that she set up.
The other residents are hovering around her.
Especially Harry who is recording everything with his camera.
Aspen takes out a deck of cards from her pocket and spreads them out in an arc on the table.
She then puts her fingers on each card, one by one, and slowly traces it.
It's making me feel uncomfortable.
The room is quiet except for Carl who is muttering to himself about government psychic agents.
Then Aspen speaks up.
Her voice sounds like she has an echo in it.
"It's a girl," she says.
"She has cat ears and a tail. She's very pretty. Her name is Mia."
She looks up at me and smiles.
"Our paths will cross soon," she says. I laugh nervously and say, "Okay... thanks?"
"She's coming tomorrow."
I didn't sleep well last night.
I kept thinking about what Aspen said.
A girl with cat ears and a tail?
Coming tomorrow?
What the heck?
I need to get some milk and bread from the corner store.
I'm heading out the door when Harry stops me.
"Where are you going?"
He asks, holding his camera.
"I'm going to the corner store," I say.
"I need to get some milk and bread."
"Can I come with you?"
He asks.
"I want to document this. This is a big day."
"What do you mean?"
I ask him, confused.
"This is the day of the fated encounter," he says, looking at me like I'm an idiot.
"The encounter with Mia."
"Oh," I say, shaking my head.
"You don't believe that stuff, do you?"
"Of course I do," he says, putting his camera around his neck.
"It's destiny."
"Whatever," I say, walking out the door.
Harry follows behind me, filming everything as we walk to the corner store.
When we get there, I grab a cart and start filling it up with milk and bread.
As we're checking out, I notice that there's a new cashier working at the register.
She's wearing a beanie that covers her ears and she has on a pair of sunglasses. She scans our items quickly and efficiently, but then she looks up at me and our eyes meet for a brief moment before she looks away.
My heart skips a beat as I realize that she looks familiar somehow, even though I've never seen her before in my life.
She finishes scanning our items and hands us our receipt.
As she does, her beanie slips down slightly and I see something furry peeking out from underneath it.
I gasp in surprise as I realize that it's a pair of cat ears!
But then she quickly adjusts her beanie so that they're covered again.
Our eyes meet once more before she looks away again.
My heart is racing now as I stare at her in shock.
