When her coffee came, she put sugar into it and stirred it slowly with a spoon.
The afternoon crowd began to thin out, and I walked over to her table and sat down in the empty chair across from her.
She continued stirring her coffee without looking up at me. My heart pounded in my chest as I leaned forward and placed my hands on the table.
My white hair fell over the table, covering my hands completely.
