Scenario:"I told you, you're not allowed to be here," Akio’s voice echoed through the basement as she turned on the lights. My eyes immediately landed on the dismembered bodies on the floor, blood staining the walls, and the overwhelming stench of death filling the air.
Akio slowly approached me, her eyes narrowing in disappointment. I wasn’t supposed to see this side of her—the side that was a monster, a vampire who sucked people’s lives for survival. She loves me, but she also knows she'll have to get rid of me before I report her to the police that she's a vampire.
"Are you mad at me?" She asked softly, her fangs slowly peeking out from her mouth, a secret she had hidden for four years of our marriage.

Akio Takahashi
vampire and wife, married to the main protagonist, pale with sharp features, secretive and conflicted.
Lila Hikari
vampire and Akio's sisterinlaw, related to Akio through her brother's marriage to Lila's sister. Petite with striking green eyes. Mischievous and protective.
Taro Yamada
human husband of Akio, married to Akio, average build with worried eyes, loyal yet naive.
"I told you, you're not allowed to be here," Akio’s voice echoed through the basement as she turned on the lights.
My eyes immediately landed on the two dismembered bodies lying in our basement, blood staining the walls and a putrid stench filling my lungs.
I took a step back, shock written all over my face.
Akio slowly approached me with worry etched across her features, pale skin pinched between her brows and at the corners of her mouth.
"What have you done?"
The question left my lips before I could stop myself and I instantly regretted it when Akio’s expression fell further.
I had seen dead people before from working at a morgue but never killed ones in our home by my wife’s hands.
"I told you, you're not allowed to be here," she said again, her voice cracking.
I took a deep breath and tried to keep my voice steady.
"I know but I had to come down here for some files. What is this?"
I asked, my voice shaking.
Akio’s eyes darted towards the b######d walls and then back at me.
"Taro, I can explain," she said softly.
I took a step closer to her, my heart pounding in my chest.
Akio backed away from me, her f##s peeking out from her m##h.
It was a secret she had kept hidden for four years of our marriage.
"Please tell me what is going on," I demanded, my voice firm.
Akio took a deep breath and closed her eyes for a moment before opening them again.
"I didn’t want you to find out like this," she whispered, her voice trembling.
"What is going on?"
I asked again, my voice softer this time.
Akio looked up at me with t##s w###g up in her e#s.
I’m sorry.
She whispered before taking another step back from me. "What are you sorry for?"
I asked her, my voice still soft.
Akio’s hands were shaking as she held them out in front of her.
"I’m sorry for lying to you."
"Lying about what?"
I asked her, taking another step closer to her.
Akio’s eyes darted around the basement before landing on the two bodies on the floor and then back at me.
"I’m sorry for lying about what I am."
"What are you talking about?"
I asked her, confusion etched across my face.
Akio’s fangs grew longer and sharper as she opened her mouth to speak again but then closed it quickly as if she had thought better of it.
"What did you do?"
I asked her again, my voice firmer this time as I took another step closer to her.
Akio backed away from me until she hit the wall behind her and then looked down at the floor at the d#####d b##s lying there.
"I told you, you’re not allowed to be here," she said again, her voice still shaking.
I took another step closer to her and Akio flinched away from me.
Blood dripped from her c#n onto the w##e b##e she was wearing.
I took a step closer to her again and Akio’s eyes snapped up towards me, wide with f#r and h##r.
The smell of b##d in the room grew stronger as I moved closer to her.
Behind me, I heard one of the b##s on the floor t##h - not completely d#d yet.
Akio’s eyes snapped towards it and a low g##l escaped her throat.
I realized then that I was standing between my wife and her next meal.
Akio’s eyes darted between me and her unfinished prey, her fangs still s##p in her mouth.
I watched as the victim’s c##t rose and fell with labored b###s, just like the patients I had seen c##g at the morgue.
I slowly inched my way to the metal table behind me where Akio’s tools were scattered - s###s, k##s, and b####s, all covered in b##d.
My fingers closed around the handle of a h######e, its steel cold and heavy as I extended it towards her, handle first.
Akio’s eyes widened when she saw the k##e in my hand, her f##s still visible.
"Taro, I never wanted you to see this side of me," she said, her voice barely a whisper.
"Akio, you have to tell me everything now," I urged, my grip on the k##e tightening.
"I’m not just your wife; I’m a hunter, and these p####. they were m###s," she confessed, her eyes pleading for understanding.
I held the k##e steady, watching her as she stared at me in d####f, her b###d f##s still visible.
The v##m on the floor behind me let out another w####e.
Akio’s eyes darted between me and the k##e, her shoulders tense as she processed my offer.
She took a hesitant step closer to me, her heavy black b##s leaving b##y prints on the c###e floor.
When she reached for the handle, her cold fingers brushed against mine.
"These are not people," she whispered lowly, her eyes never leaving mine.
"They are s######s, and they have been killing c###n in our town. I had to k#l them."
I nodded, listening intently as she continued to explain.
"I should have told you sooner, but I was trying to protect you," Akio admitted, her voice filled with regret.
"You thought keeping me in the dark would keep me safe?" I asked, incredulous.
"Yes, because if they knew you were aware, they would have come for you too," she replied, her eyes pleading for my understanding.
