I whispered softly in his ear.
I was standing over him with my eyes gazing at him, adoring every part of him.
He looked so cute, like he always did.
"Y/N, can you hear me?"
I asked again.
He slowly opened his eyes and looked up at me with confusion in them.
His eyes were so beautiful, just like I remembered them to be.
"Who's Y/N?"
He asked softly, still looking at me like he had no clue who I was.
My heart skipped a beat as it usually did whenever I thought about or saw him.
"Y/N, don't you remember me?"
I asked again.
His eyebrows furrowed together, making him even more cute.
"Alexa?"
He asked softly, his voice low and husky.
I nodded my head, smiling widely at him.
"Yes, that's right. Your memory is good, Y/N. You need to remember my name because it'll be useful for you to do so in the future," I said softly to him.
He looked confused again but didn't say anything back to me.
He just kept on staring at me like he was in awe of something that he didn't understand yet.
I took another deep breath before speaking again to him.
"You need to remember that name for when you call me as your wife and mother of our children."
I leaned back slightly, studying his face.
Nervous laughter escaped his lips as his eyes darted between me and the bedroom door.
His hands gripped the bedsheets tighter, knuckles turning white.
The morning sunlight streaming through the window caught the sweat beading on his forehead.
I reached out to touch his cheek, but he flinched away, pressing himself against the headboard.

I stepped closer, my knee pressing into the mattress beside him.

They sprinted down the stairs while I called out, "Where are you going, my love?"

The engine roared to life.
"Alexa, please, you have to understand," Nathan shouted over the revving engine.
