A mafia boss man falls in love with a mafia boss woman
Donatello Morano
He is a newly made mafia boss, fresh off the streets and trying to fit into the world of organized crime. He is determined, impulsive, and passionate. Donatello struggles with his emotions, particularly his intense attraction to Vincente, a fellow boss. He is drawn to her strength and intelligence, and is conflicted about his feelings for her. Despite being aware of the dangers of being involved with a woman in a maledominated field, he can't help but follow his heart.
Giuliana
She is Donatello's sister who works as a nurse. She is caring, loyal, and cautious. Giuliana tries to offer Donatello advice when she senses danger in his new lifestyle. She worries about his safety and the impact of organized crime on their family. Though she understands the importance of Donatello's position, she can't help but express her concerns and try to steer him back onto a more stable path. Her relationship with Donatello is filled with protective instincts.
Vincente
She is a powerful mafia boss with a reputation for ruthlessness and strategic thinking. She is independent, confident, and enigmatic. Vincente controls her emotions effectively, hiding her feelings behind a mask of calmness. She has a complicated relationship with Donatello, which both challenges and intrigues her. She tests him repeatedly with subtle hints of affection, leaving him both eager and intimidated to reciprocate her feelings. Despite being in a position of power, she seeks emotional connection and intimacy.
I was a made man, fresh off the streets and trying to fit in.
I didn’t have time for love.
That was until I met her.
Vincente.
A mafia boss just as ruthless and deadly as the men in my family.
I knew I shouldn’t want her—she was a distraction.
But I couldn’t take my eyes off of her, and before I knew it, I was falling for her.
Now, I had to make her mine.
She was the only woman who could handle a man like me.
The question was… would she?
"Did you hear that Donatello Morano just got made? He’s now a boss in the Italian mafia."
"I did hear that. It’s about time. He’s been putting in work for years."
"What do you think about him?"
"He’s a good kid, but he’s impulsive and hotheaded. I’m not surprised he got made; he has a lot of potential. His biggest problem is going to be keeping his emotions in check."
"I heard he has a thing for Vincente."
"Vincente? The female boss? I heard she doesn’t let anyone get close to her. Literally nobody knows anything about her."
"Maybe Donatello will be the one to crack her."
"I doubt it. She’s too guarded."
"I heard Donatello is obsessed with her. He should be careful; she may not feel the same way."
I sit alone in my dimly lit office, staring at the wall as I try to process what just happened.
I can’t believe that Vincente is here.
She’s here, in my territory, and she’s talking about making a deal with me.
I can’t believe it.
I look down at the glass of scotch in my hand and take a sip.
It burns going down, but it feels good.
I need something to take the edge off right now.
I set the glass down and run my hands through my hair.
What am I going to do?
I’ve been thinking about Vincente nonstop since I first met her.
And now, here she is, sitting across from me in a conference room, looking more beautiful than ever.
I feel like I’m dreaming.
But this isn’t a dream; it’s reality.
And I need to figure out how to make the most of this opportunity. I stand up and walk over to the window.
Looking out, I can see the city below me.
It’s a beautiful sight, and it always makes me feel good to see it.
But right now, all I can think about is Vincente.
I turn around and walk back over to my desk.
I pick up my phone and dial a number.
It rings a few times before someone answers.
"Hello?"
"Hey, it’s Donatello. Can you come over here for a minute?"
"Sure thing. What do you need?"
"Just come over."
"Okay."
I hang up the phone and sit down in my chair.
A few minutes later, there’s a knock on the door.
"Come in," I say.
The door opens and one of my men walks in.
"What do you need?" he asks.
"I need you to go get Vincente. Tell her that I want to talk to her."
"Okay," he says, turning and leaving the room. A few minutes later, there’s another knock on the door.
"Come in," I say again.
The door opens and Vincente walks in.
She looks even more beautiful up close, and I have to force myself not to stare at her too much. "What do you want?" she asks me as she sits down in one of the chairs across from my desk. "I just wanted to talk to you for a minute," I say, trying to sound calm. "Okay," she says, looking at me expectantly. "So…"
I start, not really sure where to begin. "Yes?"
I clear my throat and lean forward, studying her face.
Her dark eyes meet mine steadily, and I can see that she’s not going to make this easy for me.
I drum my fingers on the mahogany desk, feeling the tension in the room build with each passing second.
A glass of scotch sits untouched between us, the amber liquid catching the late afternoon light.
My heart pounds in my chest as I try to gather my thoughts.
The words I’m about to say could change everything between us, and I need to make sure I get them right.
The scent of her perfume drifts across the desk, subtle yet intoxicating.
It takes all my willpower not to reach out and touch her. Finally, I stand up and walk over to the window.
I look out at the city below, gathering my courage.
When I turn back around, I know what I have to do.
"Vincente, I need to know if you’re here for business or if there’s something more," I say, my voice steady despite the turmoil inside.
She raises an eyebrow, a slight smirk playing on her lips. "Donatello, you should know by now that with me, business and pleasure often intertwine."
I take a deep breath, feeling the weight of her words. "Then tell me, which one is it this time?"
