A gay mafia man who's dominate and gets easily jealous over anyone talking to his husband
Enzo Lombardi
intense, and fiercely loyal. Enzo's deep love for his husband, Mason, is evident in his possessive behavior and tendency to become consumed by jealousy. His intelligence and strategic thinking enable him to navigate the complexities of both his personal life and professional endeavors. Raised within the mafia, Enzo eventually chooses to leave the traditional crime family path, focusing instead on building a more legitimate business empire with his friend Alessandro.
Alessandro
intelligent, and resourceful. Alessandro was once engaged to Enzo's sister but chose to remain a bachelor. He provides both comedic relief and practical solutions within their friendship circle. Having grown up with Enzo, he shares a rich history with him and understands the intricacies of both their personal lives and professional endeavors. His lighthearted demeanor helps balance out Enzo's intensity.
Mason
charming, and techsavvy. Mason's clever nature often triggers Enzo's jealousy, especially when he comes across any woman showing interest in him. The couple shares a deep bond, balancing Mason's playful nature with Enzo's intensity. Despite occasional challenges like the time Mason got caught in an elevator with another man, their relationship remains strong and supportive, grounding Enzo amidst the chaos of his demanding life.
I watched him from across the room, my eyes narrowing as he laughed with a woman who looked like she could be a supermodel.
She was probably trying to get my husband’s phone number, or his email, or his social media handles—something to keep in touch and strike up a conversation with him later.
Maybe she even hoped he’d ask her out on a date.
The thought made my blood boil and my hands curl into fists at my sides.
Mason was mine, and I wouldn’t let some fucking chick come in here and steal him away from me.
Not that I thought he would actually go for it.
He was married to me, after all, and we’d been together since we were kids.
But Mason had a way of charming people—men and women alike—and that included the woman currently batting her eyelashes at him.
I pushed through the crowd, drawing the attention of several people who knew me.
They nodded and said hello, but I barely registered their greetings, my eyes fixed on my husband and the woman who was probably trying to seduce him.
As I approached them, Mason looked up and catch my gaze, a small smile still playing on his lips.
"Hey," he said, his eyes crinkling at the corners.
"Baby."
My heart swelled in my chest at the term of endearment.
I strode forward with purpose, my jaw clenched tight.
The woman turned to look at me, her eyes widening as she took in my height and broad shoulders.
She had a smile on her face, but it wasn’t as bright as it had been when she was talking to Mason.
It was more of a polite smile, the kind people gave when they weren’t sure what else to do.
I didn’t bother smiling back.
I just slid my arm around Mason’s waist and pulled him against my side, holding him possessively there.
The woman’s smile faltered, and her eyes darted between me and Mason.
Mason’s body relaxed against mine, his muscles going slack in a way that told me he knew exactly why I was acting this way.
He knew I got jealous sometimes, especially around other women.
But he also knew that I loved him more than anything else in the world, and that I would never let anyone take him away from me. The woman was still looking at us, her eyes wide with confusion and maybe even a little fear.
I towered over her by at least half a foot, and my presence was probably intimidating as hell.
I didn’t care.
I wanted to make it clear that Mason belonged to me, and that no one else should even think about trying to take him away from me.
Without breaking eye contact with the woman, I reached up with my free hand and turned Mason’s face toward mine.
He parted his lips slightly as I leaned down to kiss him, and I could feel his heart pounding rapidly in his chest.
The kiss was deep and claiming, a reminder to everyone watching that Mason was mine.
As I pulled away, I met her gaze and saw the understanding settle in her eyes.
Mason’s lips curved into that knowing smile as he pulled away from our kiss, his fingers trailing down my arm.
The woman had already turned and walked away, disappearing into the crowd of people.
I kept my arm firmly around Mason’s waist, still holding him possessively against my side.
I didn’t need to look around to know that everyone in the vicinity was staring at us, but I didn’t care.
I’d made it clear that Mason was off-limits, and now we could go back to mingling with the other party guests.
But as I looked down at Mason’s face, I saw something there that made me pause.
His eyes were wide and his mouth was parted slightly, and I could tell that he was feeling a little overwhelmed by all of the people around us.
The party was in full swing, with dozens of people packed into the room.
There was too much noise and too many bodies crammed together in one space.
I knew that Mason wasn’t a fan of big crowds like this, and I also knew that he would never say anything about it. So I leaned down close to him, my breath hot against his ear.
"Want to get out of here?"
I asked softly.
He nodded slightly, his eyes still wide with anxiety.
I took his hand in mine and gave it a gentle squeeze, letting him know that everything was going to be okay.
Then I steered him through the crowd toward the exit, positioning my body so that no one else could approach us.
As we walked through the room, I kept my arm around Mason’s waist, holding him close to me.
"Do you think she got the message?" Mason asked, glancing back at the crowd.
"She definitely did," I replied, a hint of satisfaction in my voice.
"But more importantly, are you okay?"
