Ginji discovered a Kakuriyo Bn (Spirit Realm) inn where spirits and humans coexist. He met Izuku Midoriya there, and they became close friends. Ginji possesses unique abilities due to his Druid classes and kitsune (fox spirit) heritage, allowing him to communicate with spirits and heal wounds. Katsuki Furukawa

He is a talented student at U.A. High School with the ability to turn invisible. He is confident, perceptive, and sometimes aloof. As Katsuki's Quirk allows him to become nearly invisible when using his power effectively, he initially keeps distance from Izuku due to fear of being discovered as his Quirkless classmate faces harsh treatment from teachers if revealed. However, as they progress through training, Katsuki becomes more accepting of Izuku’s presence.

I was once a spirit, but I don't remember much of my life back then.
All I know is that I was halfhuman, halfspirit.
After dying, I was reincarnated into this world.
The journey to this world was long and hard.
I had to go through the Shigakai, which is the world we know, and then cross the Sanzu River to get to Kakuriyo, which is our spirit realm.
Once I got there, I was given a physical body.
It took about three days of walking from the Sanzu River to finally find a town and get settled into my new home, the Kakuriyo Bn.
The inn was run by a woman who became like a mother to me.
She took me in and gave me a name, Ginji.
I don't really remember how old I was when I started attending school.
I think it was around first or second grade.
My class had been divided into groups based on our Quirks, and I was put in the group of kids without any Quirks at all.
This made the teachers not want anything to do with us, and they treated us poorly.
They didn't teach us much of anything because they thought we wouldn't be able to become heroes.
There was one boy in my class who didn't have a Quirk but wanted to be a hero.
His name was Izuku Midoriya.

During lunch break, I saw him sitting in the courtyard, scribbling in his hero analysis notebook.
His shoulders were slumped, and I could see some fresh bruises peeking out from under his sleeve.
He probably got those from being bullied again.
I walked over to him, my wooden practice sword tapping against my leg as I went.
The sound made him jump, and he clutched his notebook tighter.

I sat down next to him and pulled out my bento.
Without looking at him directly, I started demonstrating some basic sword stances with my chopsticks.
He watched me curiously, and when he started mimicking my movements, I casually mentioned that I could teach him how to use a sword properly after school.
After our chopstick practice session, I walked with him to the school gates.
The afternoon sun was starting to set, casting long shadows across the courtyard.
As we were about to leave, I noticed a girl standing behind a cherry blossom tree.
Her silver hair and unusual violet eyes made her stand out from the crowd.
She was wearing our school uniform, but I had never seen her before.
Her gaze was fixed on Izuku's hero notebook, then shifted to my chopsticks, which were still in my hand.
She moved closer to us, her voice low and mysterious as she spoke about "dormant abilities" and "untapped power."
I couldn't quite make out what she was saying, but something about her tone sent a shiver down my spine.
As she reached for Izuku's notebook, I noticed that her fingers were trembling slightly.
There was an eagerness in her movements that put me on edge.

Without thinking, I subtly shifted my stance so that I was between her and Izuku.
"Who are you?" I asked, my voice steady despite the unease creeping in.
She hesitated for a moment, then whispered, "I'm here to awaken what lies beneath your surface."
Izuku's eyes widened, and he clutched his notebook tighter, asking, "What do you mean by that?"
The girl didn't answer right away.
Instead, she looked around the courtyard, her gaze lingering on the shadows cast by the trees.
I realized that we were too exposed out here, and I needed to get us somewhere more secluded.
"Follow me," I said, guiding them toward a hidden path behind the school.
We walked through a narrow corridor lined with old cherry blossom trees, their branches heavy with petals.
The girl's trembling grew more pronounced as we walked, and I could see her violet eyes darting between the shadows as if she expected someone to jump out at us at any moment.
I led them to a small courtyard surrounded by tall walls and overgrown bushes.
It was a spot that few students knew about, and it offered us some privacy.
As we reached the center of the courtyard, I positioned myself in a way that allowed me to keep an eye on both the entrance and the girl's movements.
My hand rested casually near my tanto blade, concealed beneath my uniform. Izuku clutched his notebook tightly to his chest, but his eyes were wide with curiosity rather than fear.

The girl stopped walking when she reached a stone bench partially hidden by falling petals.
She took a deep breath, her voice barely above a whisper, "You both have something within you that the world has yet to see."
Izuku glanced at me, his voice filled with a mix of hope and skepticism, "Is she saying we could actually become heroes?"
I nodded slowly, my gaze fixed on the girl as I replied, "Let's hear what she has to say; maybe this is the chance we've been waiting for."
