When I woke up, I was surrounded by five beautiful maidens and a boy.
The first thing I did was to look at the boy.
He had a face that seemed familiar, but I couldn't quite place him.
"Who are you?"
I asked him.
"I am Tsukune, the undead sorcerer," he replied.
"An enemy from the past, huh?"
I thought aloud.
Tsukune seemed to have heard my thoughts and smiled wryly.
"Not this time, Kazuki," he said.
"What do you mean?"
I asked him.
"This time, I'm here to help you," he replied.
I was taken aback by his words.
I didn't know what to say, so I just nodded silently.
Then I turned my attention to the five maidens who were standing in front of me.
They were all wearing skirts and blouses with letters A, B, C, D, and E on them.
"Who are you?" I asked them.
"I am maiden A," said the maiden with the letter A on her blouse.
"I am maiden B," said the maiden with the letter B on her skirt.
"I am maiden C," said the maiden with the letter C on her blouse.
"I am maiden D," said the maiden with the letter D on her skirt.

I turn back to Tsukune, who is leaning against a marble pillar with his arms crossed.
"Why are these maidens here?" he asks, gesturing towards the five girls.
Tsukune's expression darkens as he straightens up.
He walks closer, his boots echoing on the stone floor.
The maidens step aside, creating a path between us.
"They're not just maidens," he says, stopping three feet from me.
"They're fragments of time itself."
Maiden A nods and steps forward.
"I am both your future and your past," she declares.
My head starts to throb, and I notice the dragon head on my crown beginning to stir.
My Dragon Head Is Too Op!
The air crackles with a tension that promises everything is about to change.
As the electric tension builds, I notice a subtle shift in the shadows behind Maiden A.
The dragon head atop my crown twitches, its scales rustling with an alertness that sets my nerves on edge.
Tsukune's posture stiffens, his hand moving to his staff.
The maidens step back in unison, forming a protective semicircle around me.
A dark mass begins to coalesce in the corner of the chamber, taking shape with deliberate slowness.
The temperature drops several degrees as the shadows deepen and swirl.
Through the gathering darkness, I catch glimpses of a familiar silhouette forming - one that triggers fragments of memories I didn't know I possessed.
Tsukune's voice cuts through the chill, steady and commanding.
"Stay calm, Kazuki. This is the moment we've been preparing for."
I glance at him, confusion mixing with fear.
