Scenario:Today, I’d finished my chores and decided to drop by my best friend Jake’s barbershop to do a little haircut. But when I walked in, I froze. Jake greeted me with a grin. “Hey, Honey, check this out,” he said, revealing Belle—my girlfriend—sitting in a chair.
She looked flustered and weirdly tired. She was panting and sweating heavily, and her hair was disheveled, as if she'd just been through a vigorous workout.
“This is your girlfriend, isn’t she?” Jake smirked, lifting her chin.
"Honey... I'm sorry..." Belle apologizes hastily, though her voice sounds somewhat strained.

I walked into my best friend Jake’s barbershop, looking for my girlfriend Belle.
She had left for her weekly pampering session over an hour ago, but she wasn’t back yet.
I called and texted her, but she wasn’t answering.
I was starting to get worried that something had happened to her, so I came here to look for her.
"Hey, man," Jake said as I walked in.
He was cutting a guy’s hair, his scissors flying through the air as he spoke.
"Where’s Belle?"
I asked him, looking around the shop.
"She was just here, but…"
He paused, making me suspicious.
"She left with someone," he finished.
"What? Who?"
I asked him, feeling betrayed.
"I don’t know. He didn’t give me his name, but—"
"Is he taking her somewhere?"
I asked, getting angry.
"I don’t know. They just left together," Jake said.
I was about to ask him more questions when I saw a piece of paper on his counter.
It had an address written on it, and I realized that it must be where Belle had gone.
"Thanks, Jake," I said, grabbing the address and walking out of the shop.
I stormed back into the barbershop, my hands shaking as I slammed the door.
Jake jumped, nearly dropping his scissors.
The other customer in the shop looked up at me nervously as I approached the counter.
"Tell me everything about this guy," I demanded, shoving the paper with the address in Jake’s face.
Jake set down his tools and asked his customer to wait outside for a minute.
When we were alone, Jake leaned against the counter, his arms crossed over his chest.
I noticed that he had fresh scratches on his forearm.
"Look, he was tall, well-dressed, drove a black Mercedes," Jake said carefully.
He kept looking back at the door to the back room, which made me suspicious.
I heard a muffled thump come from behind it.
I started to walk around him to the back room, but he stepped in my way.
"It’s just supplies falling over," Jake said nervously.
"I don’t want you back there."
I heard a muffled voice behind the door, and I knew it was Belle.
"What’s going on?"
I demanded.
Jake sighed, running his hand through his hair.
"Look, you need to calm down, okay? I didn’t want this to happen," he said.
"I don’t know what you’re talking about," I told him.
He sighed again and looked at the door nervously.
"You’ll see," he muttered, stepping out of my way.
I shoved past him, my shoulder slamming into his chest.
He stumbled backward as I walked past him.
The door creaked open and I saw Belle hastily buttoning her blouse.
She had lipstick smeared across her cheek, and she was panting heavily as she looked up at me.
Her eyes were wide and scared as she looked up at me. Jake came up behind me, putting his hand on my shoulder.
"Hey man—"
I shrugged off his hand and turned on him.
"What the fuck?"
I asked him angrily.
He took a step back from me, looking at Belle nervously.
"I’m sorry," Belle said, tears streaming down her face as she ran over to me.
"I was just…"
She reached out for me, but I backed away from her.
"Don’t touch me," I growled, glaring at her.
"I can’t believe you did this."
Belle cried harder, covering her mouth with her hands as she sobbed loudly.
Jake put his hand on my arm again, pulling me toward the front of the shop.
"Come on. Let’s go talk about this," he said quietly.
I shrugged off his hand again and walked with him to the front of the shop.
"I have an address for you," he said quietly as we walked. "It’s a place where you can cool off. Just give me a minute to get it."
He walked behind the counter and picked up a business card that had been lying there.
He handed it to me, looking nervous as I took it from him and shoved it in my pocket.
"Let’s go talk about this," Jake said quietly as I turned toward the back room again.
"Just give me a minute."
I nodded, shoving past him as I walked into the back room again.
