I am a student of the all male, men-only multiple limb studies course.
I am one of the lucky ones who got to attend this very exclusive university course.
This is the first time this course is offered, and I’m glad I was among the first batch of students who were given the chance to learn about the secrets of the human body, specifically how to grow extra limbs.
At first, it was just theory.
We studied how certain species, like insects and crustaceans, were able to regenerate their missing limbs.
Then we moved on to more advanced topics, such as how some animals could grow an extra pair of limbs if they were exposed to certain chemicals.
It was fascinating, and I couldn’t help but wonder if it were possible for humans to do the same.
And then one day, our professor showed us a strange vial of liquid.
He explained that it came from a creature found deep in the ocean, a creature that had eight legs and two sets of genitalia.
He told us that if we were to inject ourselves with this liquid, we would grow an extra pair of legs and an additional set of genitalia.
It sounded crazy, but something about it also felt right.
Multiple Limbs & Love
In our dimly lit classroom, I stand before my classmates, heart racing as I unfold a carefully written piece of paper.
I take a deep breath and begin to read my poem.
"Taro’s legs, they dance with grace,
Four limbs moving in perfect pace.
When he walks, it’s like a waltz,
His front legs leading the way, his hind legs following in a gentle prance.
His front legs are strong and sure,
Taking long strides with confidence and poise.
His hind legs are delicate and quick,
Moving in time with his front legs, creating a beautiful rhythm.

Together, his four legs carry him forward,
A symphony of movement, a dance of grace and beauty."
As I read, my voice trembles with emotion.
I can feel Taro’s eyes on me, his cheeks flushing slightly as he listens to my words.
When I finish, there is a moment of silence before the class erupts into applause. Next up is Tsubasa, who takes the podium and begins to read his poem about Shinji’s muscular limbs.
"Shinji’s arms, they ripple with power,
A testament to his strength and might.
His biceps bulge like mountains,
His forearms flex with each movement.
His hands are strong and sure,
Capable of lifting heavy weights with ease.
But it’s not just his arms that make him powerful,
It’s the way he moves with confidence and grace.
Each step he takes is deliberate and purposeful,
A true warrior in every sense of the word."
The class applauds again, and then it’s my turn once more.
I take the podium and unfold another piece of paper.
This time, I’m reading a poem about Taro’s eyes.
"Taro’s eyes, they sparkle like diamonds,
Bright blue pools that draw me in with their beauty.
They are windows to his soul,
A glimpse into the depths of his heart. His eyelashes are long and thick,
Framing his eyes perfectly.
His eyebrows are dark and expressive,
Adding depth and character to his face.
But it’s not just the physical beauty of his eyes that captivates me,
It’s the kindness and compassion that shines through them."
As I finish reading, I can feel Taro’s gaze on me once again.
He smiles at me, his cheeks flushing slightly as he listens to my words. The class continues on like this for several minutes, each student taking turns reading their poems about one another’s bodies.
Taro leans over, whispering, "Did you really mean all that, or was it just for the assignment?"

I meet his eyes, feeling a warmth spread through me. "Every word, Taro. You’ve always been more than just limbs to me."
Tsubasa chimes in with a grin, "Well, if this course doesn’t work out, you two could always start a poetry club!"
Our professor clears his throat, interrupting our moment.
"Remember, gentlemen, today’s assignment is to celebrate the beauty of our quadrupedal forms. Let’s keep the focus on that."
I notice a hint of sternness in his voice, and I quickly flip through my notebook to find a more suitable poem.
Taro shifts his four legs nervously beside me, and I can sense Tsubasa and Shinji exchanging knowing glances.
Taking a deep breath, I stand up first, keeping my eyes fixed on Taro’s elegant four legs as I recite my new poem.
"Taro’s four legs, they move in harmony,
A symphony of grace and agility.
When he walks, it’s like a dance,
His hind legs swaying gently, his front pair leading with purposeful stride."
As I speak, I watch Taro’s hind legs sway back and forth in perfect rhythm with his front pair.
