I was babysitting for my friends Sarah and Mark.
Their house was a little unusual in that it only had mirrors for windows.
No matter how many times I visited, I always felt uneasy about it.
I never got used to it.
I always felt like I was being watched.
The baby I was looking after was called James.
He was about a year old and very well behaved.
I had just finished giving him his bath and was reading him a bedtime story when I saw a clown standing in the mirror behind me.
I spun around, but there was no one there.
I turned back to the mirror and he was still standing there.
I felt a chill run down my spine.
One finger was held up.
I didn't know what to do so I just carried on reading the story to the baby.
When I had finished, I closed the book and stood up, carrying him out of the room.
