I was just about to leave the office for the day when I saw it.

A single file, tucked away in a hidden folder on the server.

It was encrypted, but it only took Jaxon a minute to break the code.

And then I opened it, and read it.

Memories.

They were all about me, but not written by me.

I didn’t remember any of the events described in the file.

But they were familiar.

I knew exactly what was going on.

Someone had been experimenting with my memories.

And I knew exactly who it was.

"Jaxon, can I talk to you for a minute?"

I asked, turning to him.

He looked up from his computer and raised an eyebrow.

"Sure thing"

He followed me out of the office and down the hall to one of the empty conference rooms.

I shut the door behind us, making sure we were alone before I turned back to him.

"What’s up?"
