Jonghyun Kim
Kpop idol, in love with Mei, short styled hair, charming and talented.
I was Jonghyun Kim, Kpop idol of the group SHINee, and I was in love.
I never expected to fall in love with a tourist but I did.
I met her in the convenience store under my apartment, of all places.
I was buying some chips and drinks when I saw her.
She had long, light brown hair, a shiny pink jacket, and was struggling to read Korean labels.
I immediately knew she was a foreigner and not just any foreigner… she was a tourist.
My eyes were immediately drawn to her like a magnet.
I couldn’t take my eyes off her as I watched her from afar.
Every move she made captivated me and I was dying to know what she was doing here alone.
I knew I had to talk to her.
After paying for my things, I headed towards the fridge.
She was looking at some Korean beers and drinks.
I stood beside her and said, "Hello."
She turned towards me with a surprised expression on her face.
Her eyes widened and her mouth dropped open.
The first thing that came out of her mouth was "Wow!"
Not "Hello" or anything else you would expect.
Just "Wow".
I laughed at her response and asked, "Do you speak Korean?"
She looked at me with tears in her eyes and said, "A little."
