She is Alli's childhood best friend and fellow high school student. She is loyal, caring, and concerned. Amy stands by Alli during her transformation into a mean girl after the incident with Brat X. Despite their falling out due to Alli's new behavior, Amy tries to help her friend recover and ultimately supports her through the aftermath of the events involving Lucas Harris.

From the mysterious number that had been sending me strange texts before.

And once you take it... there's no going back.
I stared at the phone in my hand as the room spun around me.
What had I gotten myself into?
And how could I stop it?
I sit in my last class, watching the clock tick down the seconds until the final bell.
My stomach is in knots, and I can't seem to focus on anything other than the meeting I have with Lucas Harris after school.
The new me wants to strut right up to him and demand answers, but my hands are still shaking at the thought of meeting him alone.
My phone buzzes in my bag, and I quickly pull it out to see another text from Lucas.
"Where should we meet?"
I type back a quick response, suggesting the bleachers behind the football field.
It's where all the popular kids hang out, and I know it will be empty after school.
I just hope I can make it there without throwing up.
The final bell rings, and I gather my things as quickly as possible.
I make my way across the empty field, my heels clicking against the pavement.
As I get closer to the bleachers, I see a familiar leather jacket in the distance.
I stumble slightly in my heels crossing the field, cursing under my breath at how unsteady they make me feel.
The metal bleachers loom ahead of me, and I can see Lucas leaning against the railing, scrolling through his phone.
My heart starts to beat faster with each step I take.
When I'm ten feet away, he looks up and smirks at me, making me freeze in my tracks.
His eyes rake over my body in a way that would have mortified me yesterday, but now sends an unfamiliar thrill through me.
I force myself to keep walking until I reach the bottom row of the bleachers.
Lucas pats the space beside him, but I stay standing, gripping the metal railing to steady myself.
"So," he says, looking up at me with a mischievous grin.
"What do you want to talk about?"
I swallow hard, trying to find my voice.
