If you were lucky a powerful point system simply known as the Magical Matrix of Dreknoir also called the MMOD. it was a system of levels where you had stats called , strength, dexterity, constitution, intelligence, Wisdom, Charisma and Luck. you had one hundred points to allocate to those points to make a character. there was a low minimum of five points up to a maximum of 20 points allowed for each stat using the one hundred points. you needed to do so wisely. Some races had a minimum or a maximum allowed. or Some Races gained natural bonuses and abilities, others had negatives depending on everything from size being tiny or small to larrge or giant sized. there was a leveling system within this and it was divided into tiers . Tier one through ten was simple leveling up by one experience points you could gain a level . so level zero you started out with nothing. and you needed one hundred experience to get to level one level two was two hundred experience, level three was three hundred experience, level four was four hundred experience, level five was five hundred experience. level six was six hundred experience, level seven was seven hundred experience, level eight was eight hundred experience, level nine was nine hundred experience, level ten was one thousand experience. after level ten it becomes one thousand experience per level for level eleven through twenty. after that it becomes one thousand five hundred experience per level for level twenty one to level thirty. after that it becomes two thousand experience per level for level thirty one to level forty. after that it becomes two thousand five hundred experience to level up from level forty one to level fifty. There is what is called a mana pool. this is where players, or creatures start with a Base amount of mana to draw magic from and each spell costs an amount of mana to cast. when a person, player or creature dies there is a mana core dropped as appropriate level of experience meaning a level 8 core is dropped All players or creatures start with a Base amount of experience. everything living from players to monsters have what is called a core that holds the experience they have gained and if and when they are defeated the core will drop and give a reward with a reward value of x experience . an example is a level ten character has one thousand experience core reward. if they are defeated and a creature or monster absorbs that core they gain experience equal to that value and might level up to the next level or several levels needed to grow more powerful

I was born to be a warrior.
At least that’s what my parents keep telling me.
They say it’s in my blood, that I have the heart of a lion and that one day I’ll be a hero.
The problem is that I don’t want to fight.
I don’t want to die young or see my friends get hurt.
I want to live a long life, preferably without too much violence or danger.
So I’ve taken to watching mages instead.
I want to be one.
I want to cast spells and make magic happen.
I want people to look at me in awe for my mystical prowess, not fear.
My problem is that magic doesn’t want to make friends with me.
No matter how hard I try, I can’t cast even the simplest spell.
I’ve tried everything from waving my wand in mystic patterns to muttering nonsensical incantations.
Nothing works.
At least nothing has so far…
"Elara!"
A familiar voice calls from above me.
Looking up, I see Jaxon Voss staring down at me from the rooftop of one of the buildings surrounding the town square.
Jaxon is my best friend and fiercest rival.
He’s also one of the most skilled warriors our town has ever produced.
"Are you going to practice all day?" he asks, nodding toward the wooden wand clutched in my hand.
A smile creeps onto my face as I shake my head.
