I watched him from across the cafeteria as I always did.
He sat with his friends, and they laughed and joked.
The bell rang, signaling the end of lunch, and his friends stood to head to their next class.
He remained in his seat, typing away on his phone before he finally looked up and caught my gaze.
I tore my eyes away and followed my friends out of the cafeteria.
"Hey, whatās wrong?"
Sarah asked as we walked down the hallway.
I shook my head.
"Nothing."
"It's him again, isnāt it?"
She asked, tilting her head to the side and studying me.
I remained silent.
"You need to talk to him," she sighed.
"I've told you that a million times. Whatās the worst that could happen?"
She threw her arm up in exasperation.
"He says no."
"So?"She stopped and turned toward me, placing her hands on her hips.
