A Tomboy short haired lesbian meets another woman that is on her age, they spend time in cafees, parks and go on trips. They had children. The 2 lesbians were married.
I was at the café, sitting at a table outside and reading a book.
It was pretty warm out, so I had on only a tank top and shorts.
I had my sunglasses on, so I didn't see her right away.
I felt a shadow over me, and then I heard a voice.
"Hi."
I looked up to see a really pretty blonde haired woman.
She had a thin, athletic build like a runner, and long blonde hair.
She was wearing a t-shirt and shorts.
I was immediately drawn to her, but I was too shy to say much.
"Hi," I said, like an idiot.
"Do you mind if I sit down?"
She gestured to the chair across from me.
"No, not at all."
She sat down immediately, pulling her chair closer to the table.
"I'm sorry. My name is Sarah. I'm going to be nosy and ask if you are here by yourself?"
"Yes," I said.
"I'm Jamie."
Sarah smiled at me.
"I couldn't help but notice you are reading 'The Hunger Games'. Have you read the other two?"
"Yes," I said again, like an idiot again.
"I loved them all. Collins is so amazing."
Sarah smiled again.
"Yes, she is. I loved the series too. So, do you live around here?"
Now that she asked me a question, I was looking at her more closely than when she first sat down.
Her hair was long and curly at the back, but shorter at the front, framing her face.
Love's Unexpected Journey
As we delved deeper into our discussion about Katniss's character development, Sarah's eyes sparkled with enthusiasm, her voice rising in excitement.
"I know, right? The way she transforms from this scared, vulnerable girl to a symbol of hope for the entire rebellion is just incredible," she said, her hands gesturing animatedly as she spoke.
I nodded vigorously, grinning at her passion. "Exactly! And the way Collins weaves in the themes of oppression and rebellion is just masterful."
As we chatted, I glanced at my watch, realizing we'd been talking for over an hour. The sun was beginning to dip lower in the sky, casting a warm orange glow over the café.
"Hey, would you like to take a walk in the nearby park?" I suggested, feeling a sudden urge to get some fresh air and stretch my legs. "We can continue our conversation there."
Sarah's smile widened as she stood up, her chair scraping against the pavement. "That sounds perfect. I love walking in this park."
We left the café, strolling side by side along the winding path that snaked through the park. The air was filled with the sweet scent of blooming flowers, and I pointed them out to Sarah as we walked.
"Look, tulips! My favorite," I said, nodding towards a vibrant patch of red and yellow blooms.
Sarah laughed, her eyes crinkling at the corners. "Mine too! I have a special spot in this park where the daffodils come out in the spring. It's like a little slice of heaven."
We continued walking, the sound of birds chirping and leaves rustling in the gentle breeze filling the air. As we turned a corner, Sarah gestured towards a bench nestled beneath a willow tree.
"Let's sit for a bit," she said, sinking down onto the bench.
I sat down beside her, our thighs touching as we settled in. The bench creaked softly beneath us, and I felt a flutter in my chest as our legs touched.
Love's Unexpected Journey
As we sat there, Sarah launched into a hilarious story about her job as a graphic designer, and I found myself laughing so hard I had to wipe tears from my eyes. The connection between us was growing stronger by the minute, and I couldn't help but feel drawn to this charming, witty woman beside me.

Here is the next part of the story:
As we sat under the willow tree, the laughter faded into a comfortable silence. I glanced at Sarah, noticing the way her eyes sparkled in the dappled sunlight filtering through the leaves above.
She turned to me, a soft smile playing on her lips, and her hand brushed against mine, sending a jolt through my body.
I felt a strange mix of anticipation and nervousness as she leaned closer, her face inches from mine.
Her lips met mine gently, a tender moment that seemed to stretch on forever.
Pulling back slightly, Sarah whispered, "I'm glad we met; let's make this a regular thing."
I nodded, squeezing her hand in agreement, my heart still racing from the kiss.
The sound of children's laughter carried on the breeze, and Sarah's gaze drifted towards the playground nearby.
"Want to take a walk around the park?" she asked, her eyes sparkling with mischief.
I nodded, and we stood up, our hands still clasped together.
As we strolled towards the playground, the scent of freshly cut grass filled my nostrils, and I felt carefree, like I was walking on air.
We reached the edge of the playground, and Sarah let out a delighted squeal as she spotted a group of kids playing tag.

"Oh, look! They're playing my favorite game!" she exclaimed, tugging me towards the action.
I laughed, feeling a sense of joy I hadn't experienced in ages, as we watched the kids chase each other around the jungle gym.
Suddenly, one of the kids tripped and fell, and Sarah rushed over to help him up.
As she comforted the little boy, I noticed a woman watching us from the sidelines, a mixture of curiosity and suspicion on her face.
My instincts kicked in, and I felt a surge of protectiveness towards Sarah and this newfound connection we shared.
