My husband and I met online.
It was a Friday evening, and I was home alone, bored and browsing through a dating site.
I came across his profile, and I thought he was cute.
So I sent him a message.
Hi!
I saw that you're from my hometown, but live out of state now.
What brought you to [state]?
He replied back the next day, saying that he was working at that time, and apologized for the delayed response.
We started talking that evening, exchanging messages for hours.
We talked about everything from where we grew up to our jobs, hobbies, and even what we were looking for in a relationship.
I was impressed with how easy it was to talk to him, how much we had in common, and how much I liked what he had to say.
Over the next few days, we continued talking every evening after work until we decided to talk on the phone.
