Love in Magic Kingdom: A Zootopia Adventure
Scenario:I work at Walt Disney World with my attractive girlfriend, Priya. It is a big day, as, at the Magic Kingdom, we are opening the new Zootopia-themed land.

"James, you’re going to be late!"
I heard Priya’s voice from the other room.
I was in the bathroom, trying to get my hair to do what I wanted it to do.
It was a losing battle.
I’d never been able to tame my brown hair, and today wasn’t going to be any different.
I gave up and ran my fingers through it one last time before heading out of the bathroom.
"I’m coming," I called back as I made my way into the bedroom where she was waiting for me.
She was already dressed in her work clothes—a pair of khaki shorts and a blue polo shirt with the Disney World logo on it.
Her long black hair was pulled back into a ponytail at the nape of her neck, and she had a pair of sunglasses perched on top of her head.
I was excited for today, and I couldn’t believe that it was finally here.
Not only was it going to be a big day at Disney World, but it was also our two-year anniversary.
I couldn’t believe how quickly the time had flown by since I met Priya.
We’d both started working here around the same time, and it felt like just yesterday when we bumped into each other while trying to get something out of our lockers.
Now, I couldn’t imagine our lives without each other.
I smiled at her as I made my way over to where she was standing.
"What do you think?"
I asked, running my fingers through my hair one more time.
"It looks fine," she said with a small smile.
"I think it’s a lost cause. You might as well just leave it."
I groaned and went over to the bed where she was sitting so I could grab the small container of gel that I kept in my drawer.
I opened it up and scooped a generous amount into my palm before running my fingers through my hair once again.
I prayed that it would do the trick this time but I knew it probably wouldn’t.
My hair was just too unruly for its own good.
"I don’t know why you even bother," she said with a small laugh as I put the cap back on the container and tossed it back onto the bed before grabbing my phone from the charger next to it.

"I know it’s a lost cause, but I have to try," I said with a shrug as I tossed my phone into the pocket of my shorts before grabbing my wallet and sliding it into the other pocket.
"You look fine."
She got up from the bed and walked over to me, her hands coming up to rest on my cheeks as she pressed a soft kiss to my lips.
I smiled at her as I pulled away from her lips, resting my hands on her hips as I leaned down to press another kiss to her lips.
It was a quick kiss, but it wasn’t long before she was pulling away from me with a laugh as she tried to pull herself out of my grasp.
"I have to get ready," she said with a small laugh as she pushed me away from her so that she could grab a pair of sandals that were sitting on the floor next to the bed.
I smiled at her as I pulled away from her lips, resting my hands on her hips as I leaned down to press another kiss to her lips.

Before I could stop myself, I grabbed her again and pulled her close.
Just as I was about to kiss her, there was a loud knock on our door.
"James, Priya, are you in there?"
Mickey Thompson called from the other side of our door.
It was our first day back at work, and we were already running behind.
"We have to go," Priya said with a groan as she pushed me away from her and grabbed a brush that was sitting on top of her dresser.
"I’m coming, Mickey," I called as I started towards the door.
"Who said you could come by our apartment so early in the morning?"
I called out as I reached for the door handle and opened the door.
"You’re not even supposed to be here until nine, and it’s only seven-thirty."
He was a stout man with a white beard that covered most of his face, but his eyes were bright and alert behind his round glasses.
He had been working at Disney World for over twenty years, and it showed: he had an air of wisdom about him, but he was also incredibly funny and charming.
"You guys were supposed to be at work a half hour ago, and you’re already late!" he exclaimed, his eyes wide with surprise as he took in our appearance.
I looked down at my wrinkled uniform, and I could see that Priya’s shirt was on backwards.
"What are you guys doing?"
he asked, his hand still raised in midair as if he had been about to knock again when we had opened the door.
"Nothing."
Priya said as she walked over to us, her beautiful smile shining in the dim light of our apartment.
"Good. Now give me a hug, both of you," he said as he stepped forward and pulled us into a tight embrace.
We both hugged him back, but it was only a few seconds before we were interrupted by his loud laughter as he released us from his grasp.
"Just kidding!"
He said with a wide smile that lit up his round face and made his eyes twinkle with amusement as he held out a large box that was wrapped in shiny silver paper with a big blue bow on top of it.
I was so surprised by the gift that I didn’t know how to respond for a second, so I just stood there with my mouth hanging open as Priya took the box from him and handed it to me with a small smile on her face.
"Is this for us?"
I asked as I looked down at the heavy box that she had put into my hands.
"Of course it is. You guys have been working so hard for us over the past two years, and we didn’t want to let that go unnoticed."
He said with a small shrug as he reached out and patted me on the back before turning to leave as if he had already said everything that he had wanted to say to us.
Priya and I both stared after him for a few seconds before we turned to each other with wide eyes and smiles on our faces, both of us excited to see what was inside of the box that he had given us.
