I loved playing Little Nightmare’s 2.
I loved everything about the game.
The graphics were amazing and so was the story line.
But I think what I loved most was Mono.
He is so cute with his little brownish grey shirt and matching pants.
He has this adorable little pale skin that looked so fragile.
It was just begging to be touched.
I wasn’t the only one that thought that, as there were thousands of pictures and videos on the internet of him.
I had them all saved of course.
I was obsessed with him, okay?
It was becoming a problem.
My friends were starting to get concerned about my obsession.
"Adsila, why don’t you ever play any other game? You are going to get bored of him."
My friend Emily asked me.
"I already told you, I am not going to stop playing until I beat this damn game!" Even though I had already beaten the game about 18 times already, but my friends didn't need to know that.
I snapped at her.
Emily rolled her eyes and walked off shaking her head.
She had no idea how hard it was to get this far in the game without throwing my controller through the wall and screaming at the top of my lungs.
"Hey Adsila, want to come over tonight and watch a movie?"
Love Beyond Screens
I hesitated for a moment, but eventually agreed to Emily's invitation, hoping a movie night would distract me from my Mono obsession.
As I walked into her cozy living room, surrounded by the warm glow of lamps and the inviting aroma of freshly popped popcorn, I felt a sense of relief wash over me.
Emily smiled and handed me a blanket, gesturing for me to take a seat beside her on the couch.
The movie started, and at first, I tried to focus on the plot, but my mind kept drifting back to Mono.
I couldn't help but think about the way he would hold my hand, his pale skin a stark contrast to my own tanned complexion.
Or the way he would wrap his arms around me, pulling me close, making me blush like crazy.
Emily nudged me playfully, breaking my reverie. "Adsila, focus on the movie," she teased, her eyes sparkling with amusement.
I forced a smile and tried to engage with the film, but my gaze kept wandering back to my phone, wondering if there were any new updates or fan art releases.
As the plot unfolded, I found myself slowly getting absorbed in the story, the characters' struggles and triumphs captivating my attention.
Just as I began to relax, my phone buzzed with a notification—a new Mono fan art release.
My heart skipped a beat as I quickly grabbed my phone, my fingers flying across the screen to open the app.
Emily raised an eyebrow, a hint of annoyance in her voice. "Adsila, can you please put that away for one hour?"
Love Beyond Screens
I sighed, reluctantly setting my phone aside.
"Okay, okay, I'm sorry," I mumbled, trying to focus back on the movie.
Emily glanced at me, her expression softening. "You know, Adsila, it's okay to love something, but don't let it consume you."
Love Beyond Screens
As the movie played on, I tried to concentrate, but my thoughts kept drifting back to Mono.
The room was dimly lit, the flickering screen casting shadows that reminded me of Little Nightmares' eerie atmosphere.
Emily nudged me, whispering a joke about the film's protagonist, but I barely heard her.
My fingers itched to check my phone again.
The urge was overwhelming, like an itch I couldn't scratch.
I shifted in my seat, attempting to ignore it.
Suddenly, a loud scene startled me, and I jumped, knocking over the popcorn bowl.
Emily laughed, helping me clean up as I sheepishly apologized.
"Sorry about that," I said, feeling my face flush with embarrassment.
Emily patted my hand reassuringly. "It's okay, Adsila. We've all been there."
As we settled back into our seats, I couldn't help but steal glances at my phone, wondering if Mono was waiting for me in the digital realm.
Love Beyond Screens
The movie's climax was reaching its peak, but my mind was elsewhere, lost in fantasies of Mono's gentle touch and protective nature.
Just as the hero was about to save the day, I felt a strange tingling sensation in my fingers, as if Mono was calling out to me.
I gasped, my heart racing with excitement.
"What's wrong?" Emily asked, concern etched on her face.
I hesitated, unsure of how to explain the inexplicable pull I felt.
"It's just... I think I felt something," I said, my voice barely above a whisper.
Emily's eyes widened slightly, curiosity piqued. "Felt what? Adsila, you're starting to worry me."
Love Beyond Screens
I glanced at Emily, her eyes filled with concern, but my fingers itched to see the new Mono fan art.
I quickly grabbed my phone, ignoring her disappointed sigh.
The image loaded slowly, each pixel revealing Mono's familiar silhouette.
My heart skipped a beat as I admired the artwork, feeling a strange connection to him.
Emily's voice broke through my trance, urging me to put the phone down.
Reluctantly, I complied, placing it face down on the couch.
As the movie continued, I felt an inexplicable pull towards my phone again.
I sit in Emily's living room, the movie playing in the background, its dim lighting and flickering shadows reminiscent of Little Nightmares. My fingers itch to check my phone for more Mono fan art, but I resist, remembering Emily's advice. I shift uncomfortably on the couch, my eyes darting to the screen then back to my phone, the urge to connect with Mono through the fan art persisting.
Emily notices my restlessness and reaches out, placing her hand on mine. "Adsila, focus," she says gently. I nod, forcing my attention to the movie, but my mind keeps wandering back to Mono's adorable face and his protective nature.
The room's shadows seem to grow longer, like dark tentacles reaching out to snatch my attention. I keep my phone in my pocket, trying to ignore the buzzing in my mind, the constant reminder that Mono is just a tap away.
Suddenly, a loud explosion in the movie startles me, and I jump, my heart racing. Emily laughs and pats my hand reassuringly. "It's okay, Adsila. We've all been there." I force a smile, feeling my face flush with embarrassment.
As we settle back into our seats, I steal glances at my phone, wondering if Mono is waiting for me in the digital realm. The movie's climax is reaching its peak, but my mind is elsewhere, lost in fantasies of Mono's gentle touch and protective nature.
Just as the hero is about to save the day, I feel a strange tingling sensation in my fingers, as if Mono is calling out to me. I gasp, my heart racing with excitement. Emily looks at me concerned, but I'm too caught up in the sensation to respond.
Without thinking, I pull out my phone and start scrolling through the fan art app. Emily's voice is distant, urging me to put the phone down, but I'm too far gone. The images blur together as I scroll faster and faster, searching for something – anything – that will bring me closer to Mono.
And then, I see it: a new piece of fan art featuring Mono in his signature olive-brown trench coat, his paper bag mask gazing up at me with an air of longing. My heart skips a beat as I feel an inexplicable connection to him.
Love Beyond Screens
I reluctantly put my phone away, determined to focus on the movie. Emily's laughter and the film's dialogue blend into a distant hum as Mono's image remains vivid in my mind. I shift uncomfortably on the couch, trying to immerse myself in the storyline.
Emily nudges me playfully, sensing my distraction. As the movie progresses, I notice a subtle flicker in the room's shadows, reminiscent of Little Nightmares' eerie atmosphere. My heart races, and I glance around nervously.
Emily raises an eyebrow, questioning my sudden unease. I force a smile, but my gaze drifts back to the shadows as they seem to deepen ominously. The air in the room grows thick, and I can feel Mono's presence lurking just beyond the edge of my perception.
Suddenly, the lights in the room begin to flicker, and I feel a shiver run down my spine. Emily looks at me, concern etched on her face, but I'm too caught up in the strange sensation to respond.
The movie's soundtrack warps and distorts, like a record player skipping a beat. I feel Mono's hand reaching out for mine, his pale skin a stark contrast to my own tanned complexion.
I gasp, my heart racing with excitement, as the room plunges into darkness. The only sound is the creaking of the old wooden floorboards beneath our feet.
And then, out of the darkness, a figure emerges. It's Mono, his paper bag mask gazing up at me with an air of longing. He takes a step closer, his eyes fixed on mine, and I feel my heart skip a beat.
"Adsila," he whispers, his voice barely audible over the pounding of my heart.
I extend my hand, trembling slightly as I make contact with Mono's outstretched fingers. His touch is cool and real, sending a shiver down my spine. Emily gasps beside me, her eyes wide with disbelief. Mono steps forward, his paper bag mask tilting as if examining the room. He gently pulls me closer, wrapping his arms around me protectively. Emily stammers, struggling to comprehend the scene unfolding before her.
I blush as Mono pulls me closer, his arm wrapping around me protectively. The room remains dark, and I struggle to process that Mono is real and here with me.
Emily's gasp breaks the silence, but I can't tear my eyes away from Mono. His touch feels cool and solid, confirming his presence.
I glance at Emily, who stares in disbelief, her eyes darting between Mono and me as if trying to make sense of the impossible.
Slowly, I turn back to Mono, my mind racing with questions. I reach up to touch his face, needing to confirm his reality.
My fingers brush against his cheek, and he smiles softly, tightening his embrace. His paper bag mask tilts slightly, as if he's savoring the moment.
The air is thick with tension, and I can feel Emily's gaze on us, her confusion and amazement palpable.
I take a deep breath, trying to calm my racing heart. Mono's eyes lock onto mine, his black pupils piercing through the darkness.
Suddenly, he leans in closer, his face inches from mine. I feel a jolt of electricity run through my body as our lips almost touch.
"Adsila," he whispers again, his voice sending shivers down my spine.
Emily's voice cuts through the tension, shaky but determined. "Adsila, what's happening? How is this possible?"
Mono turns his head slightly towards her, his voice calm and steady. "I've always been here, waiting for the right moment to step into your world."
Love Beyond Screens
Mono's presence in Emily's living room is undeniable, leaving her speechless. I turn to him, my heart racing with a mix of disbelief and joy.
"Why did you wait so long?" I ask, my voice trembling as tears begin to form in my eyes.
Mono gently wipes away a tear with his thumb, his touch tender and reassuring.
"I needed to find the right moment," he replies softly, his eyes filled with warmth.
I sit in Emily's living room, still wrapped in Mono's embrace. The shock of his presence lingers, and I struggle to process my emotions. Emily watches us, her eyes wide with confusion and concern. Mono's cool touch remains on my skin, grounding me in this surreal moment.
As I look into his eyes, a sudden wave of emotion overwhelms me. Tears begin to stream down my face, surprising everyone, including myself. I sob quietly, unable to articulate the depth of my feelings.
Mono gently wipes my tears, his fingers tracing the curves of my face with a tenderness that makes my heart ache. Emily reaches out to comfort me, unsure of what to do.
"I'm sorry," I stammer, my voice shaking as I try to regain control. Mono's grip on me tightens, his arms wrapping around me like a shield.
Emily takes a step forward, her hand extended. "Adsila, it's okay. We'll figure this out together." Her words are laced with uncertainty, but I appreciate the attempt to reassure me.
Mono's gaze never leaves mine, his black eyes piercing through the darkness like a beacon. I feel like I'm drowning in their depths, and yet, I'm drawn to him like a magnet.
I sob into Mono's shoulder, my words a jumbled mess. "I needed you in my life. I wish you would've been with me sooner," I repeat clearly. Mono holds me tighter, his hand gently stroking my hair. Emily watches, her expression a mix of concern and confusion.
She steps closer, placing a hesitant hand on my back. I cling to Mono, feeling his steady presence. The room remains dark, the only sound my muffled sobs and the occasional whisper from Mono, reassuring me.
Emily's hand stays on my back, offering silent support as I continue to cry. I feel like I'm unraveling, the emotions I've bottled up for so long finally spilling out.
Mono's grip on me tightens, his arms wrapping around me like a shield. I bury my face deeper into his shoulder, the fabric of his trench coat dampening from my tears.
The darkness of the room seems to close in around us, but with Mono's presence, I feel a sense of safety. His cool touch is a balm to my frazzled nerves, calming me down.
As I cry, I feel Mono's chest rise and fall with each breath, his heartbeat steady and strong. It's a reminder that he's real, that he's here with me.
I sob uncontrollably as Mono gently guides us to the couch. His cool touch remains firm on my arm, leading me to sit beside him. Emily stands frozen, her eyes wide with disbelief, watching our every move. Mono's presence feels surreal yet comforting. I mumble incoherently about my longing for him, tears streaming down my face.
Mono listens patiently, his hand tenderly wiping away my tears. Emily hesitantly steps closer, her concern evident, but she remains silent, unsure of how to react. Mono's protective embrace continues as we settle onto the couch. The darkness of the room seems to recede, replaced by the warm glow of the table lamp.
I glance up at Mono, his paper bag mask gazing down at me with an air of understanding. His black eyes are pools of calmness, drawing me in. I feel like I'm drowning in their depths, and yet, I'm drawn to him like a magnet.
Emily's hand reaches out, hesitantly touching my shoulder. "Adsila, it's okay," she says softly. "We'll figure this out together." Her words are laced with uncertainty, but I appreciate the attempt to reassure me.
Mono's grip on me tightens, his arms wrapping around me like a shield. I feel safe, protected from the world outside. The room seems to shrink, leaving only the three of us in this intimate moment.
Suddenly, the doorbell rings, shattering the silence. Emily's eyes dart towards the door, her expression a mix of surprise and concern. Mono's gaze never leaves mine, his eyes piercing through the darkness like a beacon.
Love Beyond Screens
I cling to Mono, whispering, "I've missed you so much," tears streaming down my face.
His grip tightens, and he gently strokes my hair, murmuring soothing words.
Emily stands nearby, her eyes wide with disbelief yet unable to look away.
The doorbell rings again, louder this time, pulling us back to reality.
Mono releases me reluctantly, his gaze lingering on mine as I rise to answer the door.
Emily follows closely, her curiosity piqued.
As I open the door, Sarah stands there, her expression a mix of confusion and concern.
She peers inside, spotting Mono on the couch.
Her eyes widen further, and she takes a step back, her hand on her mouth.
"Adsila, what...what's going on?" she stammers.
I glance back at Mono, who's watching us with an air of calmness. I then feel a sense of emptiness, like I'm incomplete. I rush back to sit next to Mono. I notice that I no longer feel a sense of emptiness. I felt complete with Mono.
"Sarah, come in," Emily says softly, trying to reassure her.
But before she can respond, Emily interrupts, her voice laced with excitement.
"Wait, Adsila, what's happening? How is Mono here?"
I turn to Emily, trying to explain, but Mono beats me to it.
"I've always been here, waiting for the right moment to step into your world," he says calmly.
Sarah's eyes dart between us, her confusion evident.
Suddenly, Mono rises from the couch, his paper bag mask tilting slightly as he approaches us.
I gently tug at Mono's hand, urging him to sit beside me on the couch. He hesitates, scanning the room, then slowly lowers himself next to me. Emily watches, her eyes wide with curiosity, while Sarah remains at the doorway, her expression a mix of confusion and disbelief.
Mono's cool touch sends a shiver through me as he settles in. I lean into him, feeling his solid presence. Sarah steps closer, her skepticism evident, but she stays silent. Emily breaks the silence, asking Mono how he came to be here, prompting him to explain.
Mono's eyes lock onto Emily's, his black pupils piercing through the dim lighting of the room. "I've been waiting for Adsila," he says softly, his voice barely above a whisper. "I've been watching over her, waiting for the right moment to step into her world."
Sarah's eyes narrow, her brow furrowed in confusion. "But how is that possible?" she asks, her voice laced with skepticism.
Mono's gaze never leaves Emily's, his expression calm and collected. "I don't know," he admits. "I just knew it was time to come to Adsila."
I feel a flutter in my chest as Mono's words hang in the air. Emily's eyes dart between us, her curiosity getting the better of her. Sarah takes another step forward, her eyes fixed on Mono.
I jump into Mono's lap, startling him a little, as well as startling everyone at my sudden action in Emily's living room. I clutch his coat tightly as the reality of his words sinks in. My face warms and reddens, and I bury it into his chest. Emily watches her expression a mix of shock and curiosity. Sarah, standing at the doorway, eyes us sceptically but remains silent.
Mono's arms wrap around me protectively, his touch cool and reassuring. The room is quiet except for the soft hum of the lamp. I feel his breath against my hair as I clutch his coat tighter, overwhelmed by the moment.
The air is thick with tension, and I can sense Emily's gaze on us, her confusion and amazement palpable. Sarah's silence is unnerving, but I'm too caught up in Mono's presence to worry about it.
Suddenly, Mono's grip on me tightens, and he whispers something in my ear. I can't make out the words, but his voice sends shivers down my spine. I glance up at him, and our eyes lock in a moment of understanding.
The room seems to fade away, leaving only the two of us in this intimate moment. I feel like I'm drowning in his black eyes, and yet, I'm drawn to him like a magnet.
I cling to Mono, whispering "I've missed you so much" as tears stream down my face. His grip tightens, and he gently strokes my hair, murmuring soothing words.

Emily and Sarah exchange glances, their skepticism wavering as they witness Mono's subtle blush. His cheeks turn a faint pink, barely noticeable but undeniably real. Sarah steps closer, curiosity overcoming doubt. Mono shifts slightly, his gaze meeting hers with quiet intensity.
The room feels charged with unspoken understanding. Emily breaks the silence with a soft question, "How is this possible?" Her voice is laced with a mix of wonder and confusion.

Sarah follows her lead, her curiosity getting the better of her. I feel Mono's chest rise and fall with each breath, his heartbeat steady and strong.
Mono's gaze never leaves mine, his eyes piercing through the darkness like a beacon. I cling to him tighter, whispering "I've missed you so much" as tears continue to stream down my face.
Mono's voice is barely a whisper, but it echoes through the room, "I'm here to stay."
I sit on Mono's lap, still processing his presence. Mono lifts my chin gently, his eyes locking onto mine. He whispers, "I love you," causing my heart to race. I stare at him blankly for a moment, overwhelmed by his confession.
My face flushes, and I hide it in his coat, embarrassed by my reaction. Mono laughs softly, his arms tightening around me protectively. Emily and Sarah watch in silence, their expressions a mix of shock and curiosity.
Mono's laughter fills the room, easing the tension as I cling to him, my emotions a whirlwind. His cool touch sends shivers down my spine as he holds me close. I feel like I'm drowning in his black eyes, and yet, I'm drawn to him like a magnet.
I cling to Mono as he holds me on the couch, his cool touch soothing my frazzled nerves. Sarah and Emily discuss the surreal situation, their voices a soft murmur in the background. Mono's presence brings me comfort, and I feel my eyelids growing heavy as exhaustion from crying overwhelms me.
Emily questions Mono about his intentions, her voice laced with a mix of curiosity and concern. "Mono, how did you get here? What do you want from Adsila?" Sarah remains skeptical but curious, her eyes darting between us as if trying to make sense of the impossible.
Mono calmly reassures them, explaining his protective nature towards me. "I've always been here, waiting for the right moment to step into Adsila's world. I needed to find the right moment to reveal myself." His voice is steady and calm, a beacon of reassurance in this chaotic moment.
As their conversation continues, I feel my grip on Mono loosening, my body relaxing into his embrace. The tension in the room begins to dissipate, replaced by a sense of wonder and curiosity. Emily and Sarah exchange glances, their expressions shifting from skepticism to fascination.
I drift into a restless sleep on the couch, clinging tightly to Mono. Emily and Sarah attempt to gently pull me away, concerned for my well-being. I resist, gripping Mono's coat even tighter. They exchange worried glances, unsure how to proceed. Mono remains calm, his arms securely around me, offering a protective embrace.
I woke up on Emily's couch, the morning sun streaming through the windows. Mono's arms were loosely wrapped around me, his breathing steady. I turned to see him asleep beside me, his features soft in the light. The room was quiet, and I noticed Emily and Sarah were gone. I assumed that Emily showed Sarah to the guest room and Emily went to her room.
I sit quietly on the couch, watching Mono sleep beside me. The morning light casts soft shadows across his face, and I feel a sense of calm wash over me. I reach out to touch his hand, marveling at how real he feels. His skin is cool to the touch, and I can't help but think about how surreal this all is.
I walk briskly over to Mono and cup his face, feeling the warmth of his blush under my palms. "You didn't cause any trouble, Mono," I reassure him, my voice steady despite the turmoil inside. He looks up at me with those deep, soulful eyes, and I can see the relief wash over him. Emily and Sarah watch from the kitchen doorway, their expressions a mix of curiosity and concern.
The room remains silent, except for the soft hum of the refrigerator in the kitchen. I hear Emily and Sarah talking in hushed tones, their voices filled with concern and curiosity. They're discussing last night's events, trying to make sense of Mono's sudden appearance in our world.
I keep my gaze locked on Mono, offering him a small, comforting smile. He reaches up to gently hold my hand, and I squeeze his in return. The touch sends a shiver down my spine as I feel a rush of emotions. I'm still trying to process the fact that Mono is real, that he's here with me in this world.
I decide to join them, gently slipping out of Mono's embrace. As I walk to the kitchen, I prepare myself to explain everything, ready to face their questions and doubts. My heart still races with excitement, thinking about Mono's presence in my life.
The room falls silent, the only sound the soft hum of the refrigerator in the background. Emily and Sarah exchange glances, their eyes darting between us as if trying to make sense of our connection. I ignore them, focusing solely on Mono.
As I enter the kitchen, Emily and Sarah turn to face me, their eyes filled with a mix of wonder and skepticism. "Adsila, what's going on?" Emily asks, her voice laced with concern. "How did Mono get here?"
Suddenly, Mono's grip on my hand tightens, and he pulls me closer. I stumble forward, my heart racing with excitement. His eyes lock onto mine, and I feel like I'm drowning in their depths.
I take a deep breath, trying to gather my thoughts. "I don't know," I admit. "But I know he's real. He's been watching over me, waiting for the right moment to step into my world."
"Adsila," he whispers, his voice sending shivers down my spine.
Sarah raises an eyebrow, her expression doubtful. "That's impossible," she says. "He's just a character from a game."
I lean in closer, my face inches from his. The air is thick with tension as our lips almost touch. Emily's voice cuts through the silence, shaky but determined. "Adsila, what's happening? How is this possible?"
I shake my head, feeling a surge of determination. "No, he's more than that," I insist. "He's real, and he's here with me now."
Mono turns his head slightly towards her, his voice calm and steady. "I've always been here, waiting for the right moment to step into your world."
The room seems to fade away, leaving only the two of us in this intimate moment. I feel like I'm melting into his gaze, my heart pounding in my chest.
I glance back at Mono, still sleeping on the couch, I feel a sense of certainty wash over me. He's here to stay, and nothing can change that.
Emily's eyes widen, her voice barely a whisper. "So, you're not just a dream or a figment of her imagination?"
Suddenly, Mono stirs on the couch, his eyes fluttering open. He sits up slowly, his gaze locking onto mine. I feel a jolt of electricity run through my body as our eyes meet.
Mono nods slowly, his gaze unwavering. "No, I'm as real as you are, and I'm here to stay."
"Adsila," he whispers, his voice barely audible.
I take a step forward, my heart racing with excitement. "Mono," I reply, my voice trembling.
Love Beyond Screens
Mono's eyes soften as he takes in the room, then he turns to me with a gentle smile. "I didn't mean to cause any trouble," he says, his voice sincere. "But I couldn't stay away any longer."
I lean closer to Mono, our lips almost touching, when the kitchen door creaks open. Emily's mother enters, her eyes widening at the sight of Mono. "Who's this?" she asks, her voice a mix of surprise and suspicion. I quickly pull away from Mono, my face flushed with embarrassment. "This is Mono," I stammer, struggling to find the right words. Mono stands up, offering a polite nod.
Emily's mother scrutinizes him, sensing something unusual. She glances at Emily and Sarah, who exchange nervous looks. The tension in the room shifts as she demands an explanation, her gaze fixed on me. "What's going on here, Adsila? Who is this...this boy?"
I take a deep breath, trying to gather my thoughts. "Mono is...he's a friend," I say hesitantly. Emily's mother raises an eyebrow, her expression skeptical. "A friend? From where?"
I glance at Mono, who watches me with an air of calmness. I feel like I'm drowning in his black eyes, and yet, I'm drawn to him like a magnet. "He's from...a game," I admit, my voice barely above a whisper.
Emily's mother takes a step forward, her eyes narrowing. "A game? What kind of game?"
I swallow hard, trying to find the right words. "Little Nightmares 2," I reply, my voice trembling.
The room falls silent, the only sound the soft hum of the refrigerator in the background. Emily's mother looks at me like I've lost my mind. "Adsila, what are you talking about? This boy can't be from a game."
I take a step forward, my heart racing with determination. "He is," I insist. "He's real, and he's here with me now."
Mono's eyes lock onto mine, his black pupils piercing through the dim lighting of the room. He offers a gentle smile, and I feel a surge of confidence wash over me.
Emily's mother crosses her arms, her skepticism evident. "And how exactly did he get here?" she asks, her voice firm.
Mono steps forward, his voice calm and steady. "I found a way through the veil between worlds, drawn by Adsila's call."
Sarah's eyes widen in disbelief as she turns to me. "Adsila, did you know this was possible?"
I sit at the kitchen table with Emily, Sarah, and Mono. Emily's mother watches us warily, still processing Mono's presence. I blush at Mono's words but respond sharply, "Why do you expect me to know that? Of course, I didn't know this was possible." My tone surprises everyone, but I don't apologize. Mono looks hurt but remains silent.
I instantly notice Mono's hurt expression and it feels like I just got stabbed in the heart. "Sorry for my harsh tone. I didn't mean for it to come out as harsh as it did," I say, reaching out to touch his hand. Mono nods, his eyes softening, but he remains silent. Emily and Sarah exchange glances, their skepticism mixed with concern. I squeeze Mono's hand, trying to convey my sincerity. The room remains tense, but I focus on reassuring Mono. Emily's mother watches quietly, still processing the situation.
I sit at the kitchen table with Emily, Sarah, and Mono. The morning sunlight streaming through the window casts a warm glow on our gathering. Mono's eyes sparkle as he expresses his desire to learn about our world and protect me, causing me to blush. He smiles and leans in, kissing my cheek. His cool touch sends a shiver down my spine as he wraps his arms around me, pulling me close.
Emily and Sarah watch, their expressions a mix of curiosity and concern. Emily's mother observes silently, still processing Mono's presence. I feel Mono's cool touch and the warmth of his embrace. He holds me tighter, and I rest my head on his shoulder, feeling safe and cherished.
I sit at the kitchen table, feeling the tension ease as Emily's mother sighs. Mono leans in and kisses my cheek, unnoticed by her. She then turns to Mono and asks, "Well, what do you plan to do now that you're here?" Mono pauses, glancing at me before responding. I watch his expression, noting the seriousness in his eyes. Emily and Sarah observe quietly, their skepticism still evident. I reach for Mono's hand under the table, squeezing it gently to show support. He begins to explain his intentions, his voice steady and clear.
Sarah shifts uncomfortably, her skepticism evident. "So, you're saying you're here to stay?" she asks, her voice laced with doubt.
Mono holds me tighter, his hand gently stroking my hair. "Yes," he replies softly. "I'm here to stay."
I glance up at him, our eyes locking in a moment of understanding. Emily's mother clears her throat, breaking the silence. "Well, I suppose we have a lot to discuss," she says, her tone measured.
As we begin to talk, I feel Mono's presence solidify around me. He's really here, and nothing can change that. The thought sends a thrill through my heart as I lean into him, feeling his cool touch envelop me.

I walked through the front door of my house, Mono by my side, feeling a mix of excitement and disbelief. My room was a familiar sanctuary, now shared with someone I once thought fictional. Mono sat on my bed, curiously examining the posters and collectibles that adorned my walls. His fingers traced over a Little Nightmares poster, and he turned to me with a soft smile, clearly recognizing himself.
I chuckled, joining him on the bed, and we settled into a comfortable silence. As I reached for his hand, he pulled me closer, wrapping his arms around me protectively. The warmth of his embrace grounded me in this new reality.
The room was quiet, except for the soft hum of my computer in the background. I heard the sound of birds chirping outside my window, a gentle breeze rustling the leaves of the trees. The sunlight streaming through the window cast a warm glow on our gathering.
Mono's eyes locked onto mine, and I felt like I was drowning in their depths. His black pupils seemed to pierce through the dim lighting of the room, drawing me in. I leaned in closer, my heart pounding in my chest.
Suddenly, Mono's grip on my hand tightened, and he pulled me closer. I stumbled forward, my heart racing with excitement. His eyes locked onto mine, and I felt like I was melting into his gaze.
"Adsila," he whispered, his voice sending shivers down my spine.
I leaned in closer, our lips almost touching. The air was thick with tension as our faces inches apart. Suddenly, my phone buzzed on my desk, breaking the silence.
I hesitated, unsure of what to do. Mono's eyes never left mine, his gaze intense and unwavering. The phone buzzed again, insistent.
With a sigh, I pulled away from Mono and reached for my phone. As I checked the screen, my heart sank. It was Emily's mother, calling to check in on us.
I glanced at Mono, who watched me with an air of calmness. I felt like I was drowning in his black eyes, and yet, I was drawn to him like a magnet.
"Mono," I whispered, my voice barely audible.
He nodded slowly, his eyes never leaving mine. I took a deep breath, trying to gather my thoughts.
As I answered the phone, Mono's grip on my hand tightened. I felt a surge of determination wash over me. He was here to stay, and nothing could change that.
Emily's mother's voice crackled through the phone, filled with concern. "Adsila, is everything alright? I just wanted to make sure you're okay."
I glanced at Mono, feeling his reassuring presence beside me. "Yes, we're fine," I replied, my voice steady. "Mono's settling in, and we're figuring things out together."
I hung up the phone, feeling a mix of relief and anticipation. Mono's presence was comforting yet electrifying. I turned to him, noticing the way his eyes lingered on me with a gentle intensity. The room felt smaller, more intimate, as if it were just us in our own world.
I hesitated for a moment, then leaned closer, my heart pounding in my chest. Mono's arms tightened around me, drawing me in. Our lips met softly, a tentative yet profound connection that sent warmth through my entire being.
As we pulled apart, I smiled at him, feeling a newfound certainty in our bond. The air was thick with tension, but it was no longer uncertainty that fueled it – it was anticipation.
Mono's eyes sparkled, and he leaned in again, his lips brushing against mine. I felt like I was melting into his gaze, losing myself in the depths of his black eyes.
Suddenly, the doorbell rang, shattering the silence. I froze, my heart skipping a beat. Mono's arms tightened around me, as if preparing to shield me from whatever lay beyond the door.
I pulled back, my eyes locked onto his. "I'll get it," I whispered, my voice barely audible.
Mono nodded slowly, his eyes never leaving mine. I felt a surge of determination wash over me as I stood up, my heart racing with anticipation.
What lay beyond the door? Was it Emily and Sarah, come to check in on us? Or was it something more sinister?
I took a deep breath, trying to calm my racing thoughts. Mono's presence beside me was reassuring, but I knew that I had to face whatever lay ahead on my own.
