I was just about to shut down my computer when I saw the message pop up.
I had been talking to this guy named Jack for a few weeks now.
At first we talked about music, and I was shocked to find out that he loved the same bands that I did.
From there we started talking about movies, books, and even what we wanted to do with our lives.
I had never felt such a strong connection with someone before.
Even though we had never met in person, I felt like I knew him.
"Hey beautiful," he said.
"Hi!"
I replied.
"How was your day?"
It was something that only close friends or lovers asked, but I didn't think much of it.
He asked me the same question every time we talked.
"Good. Just got back from the beach."
I typed into the box.
"Nice. Wish I could have gone to the beach today. It's freezing here."
He said in response.
"Yeah it was really hot today. Where are you again?"
