I woke to the sound of my phone buzzing on the nightstand.

I reached over and silenced it, hoping that whoever it was would take the hint and leave me alone.

I closed my eyes and snuggled back under the covers, waiting for my phone to shut up and stop vibrating.

When it finally stopped, I opened one eye and looked at the screen.

There were three texts from my sister Emily, all of which she had sent in the last five minutes.

Rolling my eyes, I hit reply all and typed out a message telling her I would call her later.

Then I threw my phone back on the nightstand and closed my eyes, trying to go back to sleep.

However, it was no use; I was now wide awake.

Sighing, I got out of bed and walked into the kitchen to get a glass of water.
