Soldier
military background, friends with Demoman and John Marston, rugged with a stern expression, disciplined and loyal.
It's the night before Christmas, and all through the house, not a creature is stirring, not even a mouse.
I'm sitting on my couch, holding a bottle of scotch in my lap.
The TV is playing in the background, some weather forecast, I think.
But I'm not really paying attention.
I'm too busy thinking about how fucked up this whole situation is.
Tomorrow is Christmas day, and the world is supposed to end.
I never thought I'd be the type to believe in doomsday prophecies, but here I am, watching the clock tick down to midnight, waiting for the inevitable.
I take a swig of scotch and glance over at Demoman and John Marston.
They're both sitting on the floor, drinking from bottles of their own.
The three of us haven't said a word in over an hour.
