I was walking home from the library.
It was a warm spring day, so I'd taken my jacket off and was carrying it in my hand.
As I walked past the park, I noticed a black car sitting by the side of the road.
It looked expensive, so I wondered if someone had just stopped to take a phone call or something.
Then I noticed that there were no people around it.
Not only that, there were no other cars around it.
In our town, if a car sat anywhere for more than 5 minutes, someone would pull up next to it or park behind it.
That's just the way our town was.
It was strange to see a car sitting all by itself.
I kept walking home.
The next day, as I was walking back to the library, I saw the same black car sitting in the same place.
It hadn't moved an inch.
There were still no other cars around it.
I wondered if someone had abandoned it or something.
