I ran off into the woods, clutching my Power Sword tightly in my hand.
I had to get out of here and change back into Prince Adam before anyone discovered that I was actually He-Man!
I ran as fast as my legs would carry me, the dark blue scarf that covered my blond hair flying behind me.
I didn't stop until I was certain that I was far enough away from the clearing where I had battled with Skeletor and his minions.
I slowed down to catch my breath, but I didn't stop.
I continued on, running through the woods until I stumbled over a fallen tree and fell to the ground.
When I looked up, I saw a pair of dark teal eyes staring back at me through the woods.
They were very familiar eyes, but I couldn't put my finger on where I had seen them before.
As I struggled to get to my feet, the owner of the eyes stepped forward into the sunlight filtering through the trees.
It was an old man with a reddish-brown beard and hair to match, topped with a brown hood that cast shadows over his face, obscuring his features.
He carried a long staff that he used to help him climb over the fallen tree.
As he got closer, his eyes seemed to grow even more familiar, and suddenly, I felt myself feeling dizzy and tired.
I struggled to keep my feet, planting them wider apart on the ground and gripping the Power Sword with both hands.
The old man stopped in his tracks, raising his empty palm in a peaceful gesture.
My vision blurred at the edges, but I tried to focus on his face, trying to figure out why those eyes seemed so familiar.
He took another step forward, speaking in a low, gravelly voice that seemed to trigger a memory that I couldn't quite place.
The staff in his other hand remained pointed downward at the ground, but instinct kept my sword raised between us.
"Prince Adam," the old man said, his voice carrying a weight of ancient knowledge, "you don't remember me, but I have watched over you since you were a child."
I tightened my grip on the sword, suspicion creeping into my voice. "Who are you, and what do you want with me?"
The old man smiled gently, a glimmer of warmth in his eyes. "I am Eldor, guardian of Grayskull's secrets, and your true destiny is far greater than even He-Man's might."
