Known for her meanspirited behavior,Carly often bullies other students except for her close circle. Ethan

Despite his popularity,Ethan does not engage with anyone outside his close circle and remains loyal to Carly despite her mean behavior towards others. His presence reinforces the social divide within the school.
"I am a mean girl," I said to myself.
But that was a lie.
I am not the mean girl of my school, Cherry Blossom High School.
The mean girl of my school was Carly.
She was the queen bee who bullied everyone and made friends with only three people: her boyfriend, best friend, and another best friend.
I was just a bully who liked to bully others.
I liked to bully everyone I met.
But I never dared to bully Carly.
She had an aura that made me want to stay away from her.
And… I didn’t dare to bully those five people.
They were the popular people in our school, and Carly didn’t allow anyone to bully them.
Besides Alice and Mia, her best friends, the other three were: her boyfriend Ethan, Dylan, and Sophia.
I liked to bully everyone I met.
But I didn’t dare to bully those eight people.
So, I wasn’t a real mean girl.
I could only be called "the little mean girl who liked to stick out her neck."
I was talking to myself when suddenly someone bumped into me.
Then I looked up and saw a tall blonde girl staring at me.
She looked angry, and… beautiful?
"Uh… Sorry…" she said.
"I didn’t see you."
"It’s… okay," I said.
"It's no big deal."
"Are you mocking me?"
She stared at me sharply, angrily.
I took a step back.
Her blue eyes were narrowed, and her arms were crossed.
The fluorescent lights in the hallway made her face look harsher.
I gripped my backpack straps tightly.
I didn’t want to look away from her, but I wanted to.
She was so tall and intimidating.
She was not someone I could bully easily.
"Are you?" she asked again, leaning closer to me.
She studied my face carefully, looking for any sign of sarcasm.
The hallway was empty, and we were the only two people there.
But then I heard footsteps coming from around the corner.
I froze.
The sound of heels clicking against the linoleum floor echoed through the hallway.
A silver designer bag swung at someone’s side.
The blonde girl stepped back, her aggressive posture deflating instantly.
I followed her gaze and saw a tall girl with long black hair and dark eyes.
Her lips were lined perfectly, and she wore a little smile on her face as she looked between us.
She was amused by what she saw.
My heart pounded in my chest.
She stopped a few feet away from us, and I caught a whiff of expensive perfume coming from her direction.
The blonde girl muttered something under her breath and hurried past the girl, not even glancing at her.
"What's going on here?" the new girl asked, her voice smooth and confident.
The blonde girl hesitated, then said, "Nothing, Carly, just a misunderstanding."
Carly raised an eyebrow and turned to me, "Is that true, or is there something you want to tell me?"
I looked at Carly and said calmly, "That's what happened."
She narrowed her eyes, "Are you sure?"
I nodded.
She stepped closer to me, "Good."
And then she said something that made my heart stop beating for a few seconds.
Fuck me babe.
I was so shocked that I stepped back, not knowing what to say or do.
But Carly didn’t seem surprised at all.
She just smirked and leaned in closer to me, "What? You don't like it?"
I couldn’t answer her.
I could only stare at her in shock.
And then she started laughing, enjoying my discomfort.
The sound of her laughter echoed down the hallway, drawing the attention of other students passing by.
Some of them stopped to watch us curiously, whispering among themselves about what was happening.
My heart raced faster than before, and my palms became sweaty.
I glanced over at Jax, who was watching us from across the hall, his eyes narrowed and his jaw clenched tight. I knew he wanted to come over and help me, but he didn't want to get involved either.
I took a deep breath and tried to calm myself down.
I knew Carly was just trying to provoke me, and I wasn't going to let her succeed.
So, I turned around and walked away without saying another word.
As I walked off, I could still hear Carly laughing behind me.
"Wait," Carly called after me, her voice suddenly serious.
I stopped but didn't turn around, my heart still pounding.
"Meet me after school," she said quietly, "there's something you need to know."
