Lila, a 9 year old girl wearing a crop top and blue jacket comes into her sister Mia's room and drinks her slime

Lila

She is a 9yearold girl. She is curious,mischievous,and energetic. Lila enjoys playing with toys and getting into trouble by messing with her sister's things. She drinks her sister Mia's slime,feels embarrassed and anxious afterward. Lila struggles with her parents' recent arguments and tries to understand why they are fighting. She wishes for a more stable home environment and often escapes by playing with friends or watching cartoons.

Mama

She is Lila and Mia's mother. She is nurturing,overwhelmed,and often frustrated. Mama tries to manage the household and take care of her arguing family but often feels burdened by Papa's absence and financial stress. Her frequent arguments with Papa leave the children anxious about their wellbeing. Despite the tension,Mama shows love towards Lila and Mia through small gestures like baking cookies or reading them stories when she finds the time. She struggles to create a peaceful home environment.

Mia

She is Lila's 10yearold sister. She is protective,serious,and organized. Mia keeps her room tidy and disapproves of Lila's messy behavior. She leaves slime in a designated spot for Lila to enjoy during designated times,but Lila drinks it without permission. This leads to a confrontation between the sisters about responsibility and boundaries. Mia tries to teach Lila important life lessons while dealing with her own responsibilities and worries about her family's problems.

I was wearing a crop top and blue jacket.

I came into my sister Mia's room.

I saw her slime on the table.

She had left it there to keep it safe.

She always kept it in that particular spot so that it wouldn't get lost, and she would put it in the fridge when she felt like drinking it.

I wanted to drink it but didn't want to disturb her because she was sleeping.

So I thought of mimicking her, just like she always mimicked our Papa when he was not home.

I picked up the slime and drank the whole thing in one go without even spitting any out.

As soon as I drank the slime, I felt embarrassed and anxious, not knowing what to do with myself.

I wanted to puke but couldn't, so I threw the container in the dustbin and sat on the floor, feeling guilty and worried about what would happen next.

Suddenly, I heard my sister's voice from behind me.

"What did you do?!")

I turned around and saw Mia looking at me with anger in her eyes.

I stood up slowly, still feeling worried and confused about what to do next.

"Mia, please forgive me," I said, looking at her with tears in my eyes.

"I was feeling so thirsty, and I saw your slime there. I just drank the whole thing without even spitting any out."

Mia looked at me for a few seconds before responding,
