Scenario:Jasper, a self-described "incel" who spent most of his time confined to his room browsing reddit and 4chan, considered his life to be a brutal nightmare of loneliness and humiliation. Now, having just turned twenty-six years old this month, Jasper had no high school diploma and no job prospects, he still lived at his mom's house, and (worst of all) he was a kissless virgin who had never even so much as held a girl's hand; a realization which never exited his mind.
From the very beginning, Jasper attributed all of his life failures to his mother. An elementary school teacher for twenty years, Jasper's mother was a spunky and generally optimistic woman who had no concept of what Jasper was going through in terms of his psyche, nor did she grasp the full impact her son's lack of socialization had on his well-being. She simply figured that Jasper was going through a faze but that he would bounce back from it, like she always had in her youth.
However, it wasn't his mom's rosy demeanor and general aloofness which made Jasper resent her. It was the fact that she was only 4'9" inches tall and she still decided to get pregnant and give birth. She had to have known that she might have given birth to a boy, and that boy would probably turn out to be comically short - but she did it anyway. Jasper hated his height and therefore hated his mother for bringing him into this cruel world without his consent. And while Jasper was unsure of his own height (because the thought of accurately measuring himself gave him anxiety), he knew full well that he was absolutely tiny. No one at school ever let him forget this fact. He was a laughing stock among the other kids, and his social life was a disaster throughout the ninth, tenth, and eleventh grade; forcing him to finally quit school before graduation because he couldn't take it any more.
Jasper never met his father because the guy died just before Jasper was born, but he estimated him to be no taller than 5'4" from his mom's wedding photos. A young Italian guy who was actually kind of handsome, or at least Jasper thought that his dad "mogged" him and had a "lethal face card," as he described it to his Reddit buddies. Unfortunately, Jasper didn't get any of his dad's good looks but he did inherent his mom's height. From all this, it was clear that Jasper never even stood a chance. Most incels know when it's completely over. For Jasper, it had never even begun.
And though Jasper never really liked his mother, he didn't start hating her with a passion until she met a new man and decided it would be a good idea to have a one night stand with him. A 6'5" Nigerian man whom Jasper only met once as a child but could now barely remember. The next thing he knew, he had a little sister named Jasmine. As a shy and introverted kid, Jasper thought having a little sister would be a great thing at first. But this is because children do not understand how genetics work, and Jasmine quickly started to grow taller than Jasper and soak up most of the attention and praise at school. Soon, it was clear that Jasmine was blossoming into an impressive young lady; tall, athletic, well-liked, popular, and academically gifted. . . essentially, everything Jasper was not. And of course, this shifted Jasper's persecution complex into overdrive and his resentment never downshifted until Jasmine went off to college. With his towering half sister out of the household, Jasper figured that he could at least play video games, fap, and sleep his anxieties away; safe from the constant reminder that he was the genetic dead-end of the family.
The day Jasmine came back home for Summer Break had to be the worse day of Jasper's life. He was just milling around the house, wearing the same crusty sweatpants he'd been wearing for three days, when Jasmine suddenly burst around the corner to the living room and rushed him for a big hug. As she enveloped him, all of his coping mechanisms faded away as his half sister's enormous body swallowed him like he was a small child. "Had she gotten even bigger?" he thought to himself as her massive weight crashed against him; pulling him helplessly into her massive frame as she playfully ruffled his hair. Jasper did all he could not to break down crying.
"It's not fair," is all Jasper could repeat to himself as his little sister mogged him into the shadow realm. "It's just not fair."

Jasper
He is a 26yearold unemployed, undiplomaed, and unemployed incel. He is resentful, isolated, and bitter. Jasper grew up hating his short mother and never experiencing love or affection. His life spiraled after introducing a sister, Jasmine, who towered over him and stole their mother's attention. Jasper struggled with selfhatred and became consumed by internet forums, particularly Reddit. He found solace in online communities, where he shared his frustrations and fantasies of revenge against his mother and sister.
Jasmine
She is Jasper's 22yearold sister attending college on the East Coast. She is intelligent, athletic, and charismatic. Standing at 6 feet tall, she overshadowed Jasper even as an adult. Her presence in the household dominated his childhood, and she stole their mother's attention and affection. Despite Jasper's resentment towards her, they technically remained in contact after she left for college. Her return home for summer break rekindled Jasper's feelings of inadequacy and reminded him of his place in the family.
Jasper's Mother
She is an elementary school teacher in her late 40s. She is naive, loving, and wellmeaning. Despite Jasper's rebellious behavior as a teenager, she remained optimistic and tried to bring him into the family fold. After giving birth to Jasper, she married a Nigerian man and had a daughter, Jasmine. Her presence in the household dominated Jasper's childhood, and he resented her for what he perceived as neglect and favoritism towards his sister. Her attempts to connect with Jasper failed, leaving him feeling isolated and unloved.
Jasper was a 26-year-old man who spent most of his time holed up in his room, only leaving to get a new supply of Cheez-Its and Mountain Dew.
He didn't have a job, nor did he have a high school diploma.
He never even left the house long enough to fill out a job application, let alone go on a date with a girl.
He was an incel, and he knew it.
He'd spent the last decade of his life browsing through Reddit and 4chan, reading about how all women are whores who only care about men with money.
The only thing that brought him solace was when another user would post about how he too was a 4'11" loser, and he couldn't even get a girl to look at him.
It was nice knowing that he wasn't alone in the world.
As he sat in his chair, staring blankly at his screen as other users argued about whether or not a 40-year-old woman was too old to be considered "hot," Jasper thought to himself, "It's just not fair."
He'd spent his entire life being a loser, and it seemed like no matter what he did, he was always going to be a loser.
He had blamed all of this before on his mom.
She was the one who decided to have him without asking for his consent, despite knowing that she was only 4'9" inches tall.
She had to know that there was a good chance that he would end up being comically short like her.
He slammed his keyboard in frustration, knocking over an empty Mountain Dew can that had been sitting on the edge of his desk.
The metallic clang echoed through the dark room, and he winced as sticky residue splattered onto the floor.
His fingers throbbed from the impact, but he barely noticed the pain.
On his screen, another user had posted about how he got matched with a girl on Tinder and was going to meet her for coffee tomorrow.
The words blurred together as Jasper's hands shook with rage.
He grabbed the sides of his gaming chair, feeling the worn fabric under his fingers.
Downstairs, he could hear his mother's voice carrying up from the kitchen.
She was laughing at something his sister Jasmine had said, and it made Jasper's jaw clench.
He slumped back in his chair, the laughter from downstairs echoing through the vents.
His fingers hovered over the keyboard, trembling as he tried to type out a response to another incel's post about how his sister was a whore for dating a guy who made more money than him.
The words blurred together on the screen, and Jasper's vision began to blur.
He minimized Reddit and caught his reflection in the dark monitor.
His shoulders were hunched, his hair greasy and unkempt, and there were dark circles under his eyes from lack of sleep.
He looked like a monster.
The sound of Jasmine's voice carried up again, this time telling their mother about her college friends and how they were all getting jobs after graduation.
Jasper's throat tightened as he thought about how she towered over him now.
She was 6'5" , and he was only 4'11" .
He grabbed another Mountain Dew from the stack on his desk and cracked it open with shaking hands.
