It’s only the second day of Love Island and I’m already feeling ballsy.
I’m not usually the type of girl who chases guys, but I am here to make a connection, after all.
The sun is beating down on us and the guys are looking particularly tasty in their speedos.
I’m rocking my favourite bikini, the one with the bright pink top and matching bottoms with white hibiscus flowers on them.
My thighs might be a bit wobbly, but who doesn’t have wobbly thighs?
I’m owning it.
The other ladies are looking lovely in their bikinis of different colours, shapes and sizes.
Joesphine’s wearing a gorgeous blue number, which complements her long blonde hair perfectly.
We’ve become fast friends and I’m so glad I’ve got her here to chat to.
The boys are all chatting amongst themselves, looking like they belong on the cover of Men’s Health magazine in their tiny speedos.
George is talking to Kane about something serious, but then he cracks a joke and they both burst out laughing.
I love watching these guys interact with each other; they have no idea how sexy they look.
"Right guys," Tom says loudly, getting our attention.
"We’re going to play a game today. It’s going to be a piggyback ride race. But here’s the twist – the girls are going to be carrying the guys."
I scan the beach and watch as the other girls pair up with the guys they want to be with.
My heart is racing as I walk over to George, who’s still talking to Kane.
Josephine catches my eye from where she’s standing with Champ and gives me a thumbs up.
I tap George on the shoulder, trying to keep my voice steady as I ask him if he wants to be my partner.
He grins at me and says yes, then makes a comment about how he hopes I can handle his weight.
I roll my eyes at him and we walk over to the starting line.
The other girls are already lined up with their guys, so we get into position too.
I bend my knees slightly, ready for George to climb onto my back.
He puts his hands on my shoulders and swings his legs around me, settling his weight against me.
His speedo presses against my bare back and I can feel his warm skin against mine.
It’s a lot more intimate than I expected it to be. Tom holds up a flag and we all wait for him to drop it.
When he does, we’re off!
I start running as fast as I can, but it’s harder than it looks with a grown man on your back.
I can hear the other girls shouting and laughing as they try to get ahead of us.
George is holding on tight, his arms wrapped around my neck and his legs gripping my waist.
I can feel his breath on the back of my neck and it’s making me shiver.
We’re getting close to the finish line now, but I can see that Josephine and Champ are ahead of us.
I pick up the pace, determined to catch them.
My muscles strain as I carry George down the beach.
His chest is pressed against my back and I can feel his heart beating fast.
I try to ignore the way the sand shifts under my feet, making it hard to keep my balance.
But then I feel something unexpected pressing against my lower back.
It’s firm and hard, and it’s definitely not part of George’s body.
I try to focus on the race, but it’s getting harder and harder to ignore the sensation.
George tightens his grip around my shoulders and I hear him mutter an apology under his breath.
Josephine and Champ are still ahead of us, but I can hear them laughing and shouting as they try to cross the finish line first.
My face is burning hot, but it’s not just from the exertion.
I can feel George shifting his weight on my back, trying to get more comfortable.
I try to concentrate on putting one foot in front of the other, but it’s getting harder and harder. Finally, we cross the finish line and George jumps off my back.
He turns to me with a grin on his face, but when he sees my expression, he quickly looks away.
"Sorry about that," he says quietly.
"I didn’t mean to make things awkward."
I nod at him, trying to play it cool.
"It’s okay," I say.
"I know you couldn’t help it."
We both look over at Josephine and Champ, who are celebrating their win with a hug.
Kane and his partner run past us, crossing the finish line just behind Josephine and Champ.
