Sitting down on it, I looked at my reflection in the lake in front of me.
It was calm and mirrored-like because the wind was not strong enough to disturb the water.
I could see my reflection clearly, and it made me think about what the stranger said.
Reflecting on myself, I realized that I had been so caught up in my relationship with Mark that I had forgotten who I was as a person.
I had become so invested in our relationship that I forgot about my own needs and desires.
I wanted to make it work so badly that I neglected myself in the process.
Thinking back, I realized that now that Mark was gone, I had no idea what I even wanted in life anymore.
