Music thumped, blades scraped, and bodies flew.
I grinned, feeling the wind in my hair as I twirled, my arms above my head.
The crowd cheered, whistled, and clapped.
I bowed, waving.
They loved me, and I loved them.
Mark Jensen gave me a rare smile.
"You did it. You actually did it."
He was my coach, mentor, best friend, and biggest pain in the ass.
I beamed.
The top three skaters in the world stood on the podium next to each other.
Gold, silver, bronze.
