I’m a teenager and pregnant.
Yeah, I know, not the best combination.
I have no plans of getting married anytime soon.
I mean, I’m only seventeen.
My due date is in six months.
The father and I aren’t together anymore.
We never were really together.
He’s a pierced-nose boy, and my parents aren’t exactly fond of him.
My sister-in-law warned me about him, but I didn’t listen.
Now I’m pregnant—and single.
Oh well.
You can’t always win.
My baby and I will do just fine on our own.
"Becca, how could you let this happen? You're only seventeen," my mom screeches in front of my dad.
I’m currently sitting on the couch with my head in my hands, while they’re standing over me, glaring at me.
This is so typical.
They’re always blaming me for everything.
"Mom, it’s not like I planned this," I say, sighing heavily.
"Well, you should have thought of that before you spread your legs," my dad says coldly.
I gasp, shocked by his crude words.
"Excuse me?"
I say, my voice laced with venom.
