I was browsing the net when I saw something that made me stop and stare.
I was browsing, not really looking for anything, when I saw something that made me stop and stare.
A clinic, offering a range of surgeries to give people superpowers.
Not cosmetic surgery, or corrective surgery, but surgery to give people powers beyond human capabilities.
I stared at the screen in amazement.
I had seen comic books and films where people got powers, but I never thought it would be possible in real life.
I scrolled down and read the list of powers available.
Super strength, flight, telekinesis, invisibility, speed, and more.
I was so amazed by what I was reading that I didn’t even question how it was possible.
I just assumed that science had gone far beyond what I knew, which wasn’t much.
The clinic offered a free trial for anyone interested.
All they had to do was fill out a form, and a staff member would get in touch to arrange a time and date for the surgery.
I filled out the form and submitted it.
I didn’t know what I wanted yet, so I left the power blank.
I wasn’t even sure if I would go through with it.
I just wanted to find out more information.
The next day, I received an email from the clinic.
They arranged a time and date for me to go in and discuss my options.
