"Hey Madi, why are you always looking at me?"
I snapped.
I was in my third year at Hogwarts and I had found out that I hated almost everyone here.
Well, not almost everyone.
I just hated all of them.
They were stupid and annoying, and they never listened to me.
I was the smartest person at this school, but no one ever cared.
"Sorry," she said, looking down at the ground.
"I was just looking at your hair."
I snorted.
"Yeah, right," I said sarcastically.
"Who the hell looks at someone's hair?"
I asked.
Madi Grey was one of the most boring people I had ever met.
She was quiet and defensive, and she never wanted to talk to me or my friends.
She was a year older than me, but she acted like she was ten years older.
I never understood why I had to put up with her in class.
She looked up at me and I saw something else in her eyes.
For one second, I thought I saw the look of a love-sick puppy.
Then she looked down again at the ground, and I wrote it off as my imagination playing tricks on me.
"Listen up," I said to her and the rest of the class.
"I don't want to be friends with any of you, so don't come talk to me. I don't want anything to do with you."
